decided id give the unfinished sound system in the cel a bit of a crank. im a fan of the 'overpriced alpine rubbish' (according to the dude at autobarn) that i have installed in my doors now. even at the max unamped volume (30 of 50 on the jvc), theyre crystal clear, absolutely zero distortion. love em. absolutely massive improvement over the old pioneers, really highlighted my need for more sound deadening though... spose ill have to get cracking at that soon. should be a damn good system when its finished.

got a fair bit done on the celsior today. it now has no interior, new alpine speakers have been fitted to the original pioneer boxes in the doors, all the wiring for them has been re routed properly, none of that over through the door cards shit. stock sub, amp and cd changer have been removed, air purifier has been removed, front doors have been prepsol'd for sound deadening, both new amps have been dummy fitted and yeah... should be done in a week or so.

so, started dummying mounting positions for my amp about an hour ago. then i noticed that my 'complete' system is not as complete as i was assured it was. no remote volume controller for the amp. and the amp isnt what i needed. its a mono. to power 2 subs. i think i shall have to call jb. im quite pissed off about that.

collected most of my sound system today. subs dont fit. stupid air purifier. might have to go see ric, get all that shit pulled out and the new stuff put in. should make a fair decent bit of noise.

id say good shock and custom spring combo. but, if you go after coilovers, jump onto import monster, have a browse and see what you can find, theres some damn good gear for sale on there.

industrials and bilsteins = win. lol, up to you dude. what do you use the car for? is it daily spec? weekend thrashbox?

i do it all the time in the magna. never had a problem. aside from the seized motor and all. but im sure youre fine. oh yeah, work was on fire last night, literally, was greatly amusing. seems like half of the fire department was there. mobile command center included.
