  1. s'all good dude (and dudette). i just get a tad riled up about it. was cleaned up a few years back by a dude who thought it more important to answer his phone than watch the road.
  2. i never said i hadnt broken the law? hell, i aint no saint. but folks using their phones instead of paying attention to the road is a sensitive issue for me. nuff said.
  3. heres the thing. i havent done it. theres enough morons on the road for me to concentrate on without me being distracted by my phone. correction, i have once, hands free.
  4. me? sarcastic? noooooo. youve got the wrong guy pete, ive never once used sarcasm. *shrug*. why wouldya? stock gtr item is good for most street applications and tend to cost less than an a/m unit. heard various things about this, some say its legal, some say it isnt. im overdue for sleep, so i cant be arsed looking it up. my opinion however is that its legal as long as the officer/s are notified. recording mp3 players would be perfect for this, its less what the cop does and more what they say thats important. freedom of information or some other rubbish.
  5. ehm... the funny thing about ADR's is that they only apply in australia, ADR's dont apply so much in japan. who'da thunkit. another funny thing, road registered cars in australia have to comply with ADR's. i know! outrageous eh? any turbo car can have a blow off valve, as long as its a recirculating type. im going to assume you mean the atmospheric venting variety. yeah, theyre not legal. why? as ruby said, noise pollution. they also vent crankcase gasses to atmo (although, im not entirely sure if thats true), and are, therefor, disallowed by ADR's. why can drift cars have atmo valves? because most arent road registered id say. and being un-registered, they can get away with all sorts of shit. being trailered to and from events sorta does that.
  6. driving... while youre talking on the phone...?

  16. v-spec? v-spec2? m-spec (good luck)? nur? high kays? low kays? modded? standard? colour? :EDIT: all that seems a bit random. but theyre all things that will the price range. you can pick up high kay vspecs through importers for a tad over 30k. then you can find low kay mspecs, nur's, etc, for closer to if not more than 100k.
  17. fox terrier?
  18. you dont, poker plays you.
  19. petrol should cost about the same by then
  20. m-spec was the luxo model, so id say it was the nur that didnt.
  21. Items: 1990 Toyota Celsior Type-C Item Condition: Fair, it's nearly a 20 year old car, so it isn's immaculate, but it isnt trashed either. Has scratches on both mirror housings, various key marks on the drivers side door, cracked front grill, and the front panels need to be regapped. Yes, there is evidence of a slight front end knock sometime in its life, but theres no evidence of chassis damage, seems the panels were put back on by the work experience kid with down syndrome. Also has mild rust in one of the rear gaurds, will cost approx. $400 for repair and paint. Extra Info: Exhaust needs replacement or modification, was installed with steel hangers which have snapped, its a press bent system, so replacement would be the best option. Can replace for you at a cost of about $500, similiar to what it already has, mild, hotdogs, but mandrel bent. Has 20% tint recently installed at auto perfection (approx $380). Equipped with 18 * 8 f and 18 * 9 r (+37 all round) SSR Vienna wheels with fresh 235/45/18 Maxxis MA-V1 front tyres ($190ea), and 235/45/18 Neuton NT5000 rears ($140ea). Near new, I doubt they've even got 1,500km under them. Alternator was recently replaced, and a new RAA dry cell battery was installed at a combined price of $600. Have receipts. Car has always been run on at least 95 octane while ive owned it, washed weekly, still very low kays, under 127,000 km. I havent even owned it for 10,000 of those. Has a field adjustable airbag controller, which can be made to go even lower with a few minutes tweaking of the air struts. The car isn't currently equipped with an alarm, Ric at auto perfection will install an Australian standards system complete with window break sensors, black wire, and monitoring points on all doors, boot and hood for $350. Has unknown speakers in the doors hooked up to a JVC MP3/CD/DVD head unit (installed when i purchased the car ~$400), and a generic fold out screen. Can include 2 12" 600W Cadence subs (boxed), 1000W candence amp, 5mm boot sound deadening kit, 2mm sound deadening for doors, and 4x Alpine 4" speakers for $1000 (total cost $1500). Front brake pads were also replaced at $120, have a set of genuine Toyota rear pads lying around also. Contact Details: PM or phone on 0408961657. I work nights, so be mindful of when you call. Price and price conditions: Very regretful sale, looking for $8,000. Don't like the price? Then look elsewhere. I won't tolerate tyre kickers, test pilots, or sms's. Looking for a cash sale only. Will post pics soon.
