  1. interested in the celsior mesh grill (provided its ucf10/1) and a set of plates. whats the best price you can do?
  2. on the the 24th you say? i think my car's going to be ready by the 23rd... the 24th's a saturday, i have a feeling im not working this weekend... *runs downstairs to check roster.* f**k yeah! ill be there pending the status of my car.
  3. log onto r31skylineclub.com. theres about half a dozen members (that i know of) who have nissan/skyline tats.
  4. welcome to the world my friend. police are more often than not, powerless, in issues such as this. and their inability to process evidence in a timely manner doesnt really help in the apprehension and swiftly dealt justice of the people behind shit like this. i think that this issue is more likely to be sorted out internally, ie, within the 'bikie gang' that was 'responsible' for the shootings. from what ive heard, it was less bikies, and more the wannabes or hangers on. 'justice' will be dealt, but more than likely not in the way the public would expect.
  5. if it werent for the fact that my cars currently at the sparkys id probably come along, but alas, no car means i pretty have to work to get it back on the road. next time.
  6. welcome to the new dude.
  7. not a skyline, but spotted a black t18 sitting on dishy 15" speed star wheels, rails practically on the floor, on nth terrace at about 2:30am brapping (!!) happily. double defect, not fun.
  8. because sa blows. anyone have the number for jap import spares? need to chase up a few parts and i am far too tired/drugged up on pain killers to be bothered finding the number myself. cheers.
  9. boostworx. /thread.
  10. found what killed my alternator. power steering fluid leaked down from my power steering resevoir and into my alternator. big of a bugger as now i have to reseal my power steering, but at least i know what killed it.
  11. *looks at rosters* yeah, im working. maybe next time.
  12. time to crank out my excuse, <insertreasonhere> work, repairs to car, alarm fitment, sound system purchase and fitment, and a new insurance policy where i need to pay the whole 12 months in one hit. </insertreasonhere> wanted to come along, but my alternator going emo has put a nice sized hole in my budget, so this time ill have to give it a miss. will definitely come along to the next one however.
  13. working. awesometown.
  14. ill probably end up getting ric at auto perfection to install my sound system (basic'ish, see the list) when i get my alarm done, does a great job, great customer service, and hes simply a pretty cool cat. 2x 12" 600w cadence subs 1x 2ch 1000w cadence amp 4x 4" alpine door speakers (yet to source an amp for the alpines) 2x 6"x9" 250 pioneer speakers for rear fill 1x 2ch 450w fusion encounter amp 5mm sound deadening for boot and boot lid 2mm sound deadening for doors. combined with the jvc dvd/mp3/cd head unit and generic screen that are already fitted. (... ok, so maybe a little more than basic...) and before people say i only need 1 12" sub, the 2 boxed cadence subs were cheaper than a single boxed 10" candence sub, and the celsior has a fairly cavernous boot to fit the bastards in
  15. yeah, i laughed and pointed out that it was the 8th of may, not the first of april. i could almost picture the dude at the other end of the line giving the phone one of those "wtf carnt?!" sorta looks. ended up telling him to stroke it softly, its beyond rediculous. rebuild seems to be the go, eliz auto electrics are gonna get my cash, $350+ fit. for that amount of money id expect to not only be made of gold plated unobtainium, but come with pleasurable company whilst my cars off the road
  16. priced an alternator through toyota today. $2500. not f**king likely.
  17. wasnt that kietz?
  18. hes saying hope they dont f**k it up more. pretty decent looking car for the price.
  19. fail. shoulda modified one of the pics in the op with a vtak line.
  20. heavy duty chain wrapped in rubber + heavy duty padlock = cheap wheel clamp. i keep one in my boot should i find myself parking in an area i dont trust, wrap it through the wheel spokes and around the strut. hopefully the cops actually do something this time around.
  21. yeah, its gonna suck some pretty serious balls using it on friday and saturday nights. an hour on the train, plus about 2 hours waiting for it after each shift is gonna get old real quick heh, those 35 days are gonna take forever..
  22. *cocks revolver* i said get in.
  23. lol, unfortunately that can only make a car awesome by association , cant fix front bars.
  24. was only a couple weeks ago i think. i saw them replacing some lights and thought; 'wonder what happened there..'
