  1. Matty, I'm actually disappointed that you and everyone else failed to make a proper tractor joke. Perfect opportunity, and you've all f**ked it. Hard.
  2. And more importantly, how many gangies/moisties will be present?
  3. Piss easy. Most awkward part will be doing the 4 bolts that secure the booster to the fire wall.
  4. I don't get it. Why 777? What is it exactly?
  5. Senna, the Speed of Sound. Everyone here should watch it. No exceptions.
  6. It's quite a fantastic looking vehicle. Much want of that colour. And sif Andrew would ever buy a GTR, his better half would actually murder him.
  7. A white one maybe?
  8. Maturity doesn't matter in this case. That looks like the offspring of a bag of dicks, and a bag of smashed crabs.
  9. God it's been a while since I've looked at this thread. Couple things to update. Got sick of the brakes, so they were binned for R33 brakes all round, along with an R33 BM44 master cylinder. Standard airbox was binned for an ARC box. Cusco coils were beginning to show their age, so they were binned in favour of some new BC RM's. Standard toe arms were also shown the door in favour of JIC arms. Inlet was replaced with a HKS alloy suction kit. Got a whole bunch of shit powder coated. Made a fixed seat rail for the Velo. Fit a 330mm Sparco and detachable hub. I sold my Equips in favour of some much cooler 17x9+18 Desmond Regamaster Marquis Promadas. ... I feel like I'm forgetting quite a bit... Replaced my crushed and utterly destroyed Apex'i exhaust with a custom made 3" stainless steel system by AM Performance. Z32 AFM, Hybrid EBC, Nistune, and Blitz 550cc injectors were fitted, which turned out to be f**ked, they were swapped for newer Sard 550cc injectors. Got it on the dyno and we spent 4 hours chasing stupid problems (VCT, electrical, boost control, etc), and basically came to the conclusion that the humble HG high flow simply wasn't capable of controlling boost. So with much frustration, I removed the turbo and purchased a Tial 38mm gate, then decided on a completely new direction. The 2860 was sold with plans of buying a T518z or TD06-20g 8cm and running the ex. gate with that. Then I started reading up on Borg Warner EFR turbos. Which leaves me where I am now, with an 8 week wait while I wait for my EFR 6258 to arrive. Current plans are to remove and sell the Sard 550's and replace them with short body ID1000 (or Bosch EV14 1000cc) injectors in a custom top feed rail, a new NPC clutch rated to 330rwkw, shimmed diff, new diff bushes, Brian Crower step 2 cams, Aeromotive Stealth 340 in-tank fuel pump, and E85. With an end goal of over 250rwkw with a conservative tune. I may even take the time to relocate my oil cooler and add a thermostat. To keep me occupied and excited in the mean time, I have a lovely pair of 17x10 +20 Regamasters due at my door any day now. I'll get pics up eventually.
  10. Chefly has a Metallic Blue one... Far too tempting.
  11. I did a bit of research on 6255, 6258, and 6758, and spent a bit of time chatting with a mate who had done even more research. I basically came to the conclusion that the 6255 was a little on the small side, the 6758 was getting a little on the large side for a standard bottom end and box (I'm overly cautious), and the 6258 is basically the perfect fit for what I want. Ha! Excellent! Someone else with awesome taste in music. On SAU no less... That's a bit unusual. Awesome! That's what I like to hear.
  12. Finalised my order for a 6258 through Full Race yesterday. The wait is going to be killer, but it gives me time to sort out my new fuel system, and a clutch to cope with it. It'll be going on an unopened SR20, running E85 through 1000cc injectors, and likely Brian Crower step 2 cams. I'll be aiming for the high side of 250rwkw with a conservative tune. I'd like to go higher, but a 25 box conversion doesn't quite make its way into the budget... I'm ever so slightly excited... And speaking of the guys at Full Race, f**king awesome blokes! Went out of their way to test fit a 6258 to a stock manifold equipped SR to check clearances and take a bunch of photos for me without any guarantee that I'd end up buying, super helpful and seriously cool guys.
  13. Sounds like a shit bloke.
  14. When doesn't a daily need 300kw?
  15. Yeah... Price difference is due to the fact that the BW's are a clean sheet design that has only hit the market in the last few months, 2860's are 20+ year old architecture. Once they become a little more widespread, the price will drop significantly I reckon. As it is, I think I'm going to be the first SR in Australia running one. Is the $2k price brand new? If so, that's pretty f**king reasonable.
  16. I guess in a TT application prices would start getting a bit silly. $3400 for turbos. Which isn't too bad, but then you'd need manifolds... For me though, it's great. It fits on the standard mani and clears p/s, a/c, and engine mount bracket. Exhaust will be difficult because of how close the exhaust v-band sits to the engine, but that's a problem for someone else. Mostly street and hills, occasional track. Response will likely be better than I had before. As for Regency... Meh. I have a daily. And it's just one more part I'll have to swap out.
  17. With the 6258 I'm looking at 2871R power with response on par if not better than a 2860RS. Throw in some cool shit like investment cast stainless exh housing, Ti alloy turbine, billet comp wheel, built in boost control and BOV, dual ceramic ball bearings in steel cages, huuuuuge internal waste gate, and a couple other rather cool things for not much more than what a 2871 retails for, and it starts looking like a winner.
  18. It wouldn't be easy. But I think Full Race have manifolds to suit.
  19. Buy 2 of these ugly motherf**kers, make fit, enjoy best of both worlds.
  20. Sure you do. With my new turbo I'm expecting response similar to a JDM S14 turbo and power getting pretty close to what Josh is currently making.
  21. Just finalised and paid for my new turbo. Now the waiting game begins. Should arrive on my doorstep in somewhere between 6 and 8 weeks time. With paypals shitful exchange rate it ended up being just over $1700 delivered... Being different is expensive. Plus side, that's still about $600 cheaper than *any* local distributor could do for me.
  22. I think (excessive) consumption of alcohol is basically a sure thing.
  23. Stupidest song in history. Still funny as f**k though. She could be my wife? That good? Best 30 seconds of my life!
  24. Ok then I'm a legal aide, Erin Brockovich is my name! Noooo! God! Then you can call me Scarface, snorting mountains of cocaine.
