the sfn thread, well, at the very least the title should have been changed when it started to go in the direction of scp, it was only on topic for what, a couple pages until people started posting pics, and then a few more pages after that until people starting testing the limits. in regards to the wasteland and work, im sure your employer wouldnt have a big issue with you accessing an automotive forum, but common sense and a great deal of caution should be excerised if you do venture into the wasteland at work. if the title seems suspect, avoid it. but as people said, the risk of stumbling across this really should be non existant, but its always going to be an issue, theres always going to be boys being boys and posting some skin pics occasionally. sorry if its poorly worded n all that, but its 5 am, and im kinda groggy take it easy people. hey people, considering gettin myself a fujiflim S5600 as i need somethin cheap to get myself started again, just wondering if anyone has used it? what do you think of it? good for a starting camera? is there anything else you'd suggest for around the same price range? thanks in advance people. id still get on it, everyone in the NT, anyone that has ever used these roads, should contact their MP, dont let em do it.

i find it fairly interesting that states (and countries) that have areas with open speed limits often have the lowest road death rates. could be the fact that people no longer feel the need to open the taps on any old (and normally fairly shocking) road when they do it without reprecussions elsewhere.

may have to get back to ya on that one. but as i said, its still a while off, thats if i decide to go through with it anyways. for now im just getting an idea of what id need if i do it. yeah, thats another issue im somewhat unsure of, im wondering if theres a piggy-back out there that would be able to handle, for the most part, the engine will be stock, the exception being the ITB's, extractors/exhaust and possibly a cam if the stocker isnt suitable. so a fully programmable, all the bells and whistles ECU seems a bit much.

did a quick search (through N/A perf.), and i couldnt really find what i was looking for. just been toying with the idea of an N/A RB30 powered skyline, possibly using a GTR throttle set-up. feel free to call me a dreamer, as realistically, its going to be a bit before i can get it started. but with that out of the way, does anyone know what would be involved in converting an RB30 to an ITB setup? i remember seeing something about an adaptor plate quite some time ago, but i cant even recall who made them, let alone whether or not they'd suit an RB30. for what im thinking the AFM would need to be deleted, so what ECU would you recomend to run it? would i be able to get away with using a remap or piggy back? or would i need a programable unit? what cam would you recomend? possibly a GTS cam? so yeah, theres a few little questions, anything else you guys can think of/correct me on/flame me for? thanks in advance guys. dave.

ive driven a well maintained E30 M3, and it was fair slow compared to, well, most cars on the road, but it was a beautiful car to drive, handling was pretty sharp, and it loved the twisties. been a passenger in an 03 model aswell, and that didnt feel particularly fast either? maybe it was just the way he was driving, but its a nice car.

heh, good luck with the complaint, ive made a fair few regarding police in my short time on the road, most just get shrugged off, my last one was a cop that almost ran me off the road on my way to school near the end of last year, after about 3 weeks of conversing with the head copper at gawler, i got "we dont believe that yourself, your passenger, or anyone else on the road was put in danger by whatever happened, if anything happened at all. all of our officers are very well trained drivers and would never make such a stupid mistake." yeah, right....

granted, south australian roads do suck, they are in worse shape than anywhere else, but you cant really blame the roads for the accident, that was driver error. he made a bad judgement. and he paid dearly for it.

id be very surprised if they did, that involves work. even if it does save a lives, unless theres pressure from the public, it probably wont happen.

shit... just read about this on the 31 club forums. my condelences to the family and friends of all involved, especially to those of the man that died, no-one should have to pay such a high price for such a stupid mistake. hope you have a speedy recovery drew. i also hope this doesnt get turned into another anti import smear campaign.
