  3. yup, bloke named josh. works at kmart tyre on south rd im fairly sure.
  4. which is somewhere in sydney these days isnt it?
  5. they got my age wrong... again. i hate it when they do that.
  6. going well. got a couple tentative offers, a couple lowball offers, and a couple ridiculous offers. how bout the 'risto? any luck?
  7. ha. you may be in luck this time, i wont be in attendance. that could also be a bad thing though. never know.
  8. webers with injectors in them? could be a new trend. isnt R what nissan use to indicate a supercharger?
  9. out to yell at more skatie chicks?
  10. luke, get josh to put the vids of the other skids in here.
  11. yeah, especially those ones at about 5 o'clock... ... oh wait.
  12. craig...? timing worked faultlessly all day. had a couple mix ups with entry numbers and the names they were meant to line up with though. despite how far behind schedule they were, they still had the gawler car club 'parade' lap. they didnt have enough of the required forms. they allowed well over 100 people to participate. the reason it was closed early was 'possible bad weather'. for the first run, people were cutting the line into the chute and nobody cared. consequently, some people got 2-3 runs to everyone elses 1. (yes, people, not cars) 546, 547, 548. our little entourage seemed to agree (about a dozen people), at best, poor value for money and horribly organised. we didnt bother getting opinions from anyone else that was there.
  13. nope, they didnt tell us what to expect. they did tell us they had over 100 particpants, from memory, somewhere around the 110 mark or more, when we were led to believe the max was 75. and yes, the $90 included the day licence. even then, $65 for under 4 minutes of track time*? yeah, f**k that. *im not counting time at the warm up pad or any of that as track time.
  14. feedback? i found it alright because it was an opportunity to drive the 200. but overall, shit. according to the site, max of 75 entries. over 100 were permitted. took an hour to get paperwork sorted. a further hour waiting for my first run. then an hour between runs. got 4 runs legitimately. and 1 more because i told a little white lie to the official. most fun was the burnouts. paid $90 for the privilege though. i wont be going back, and i know everyone i went with feels the same... except maybe josh.
  15. i enjoyed it purely because it was a chance for me to give the 200 a bit of a belting. that being said, as far as i care, that $90 couldve been better spent on a 4 minute lap dance and a cold beer. funny, a "full day" of motorsports, and i used more fuel idling in the paddock than i did on the course itself. pathetic.
  16. turns out 'collingrove hill climb' is sccsa speak for 'shit value for money'. $90 for 4 runs up the hill. i got a 5th because i told a little white lie to the official. i dont think ill bother with collingrove again.
  17. bump. new tyres will be fitted up today. and im chasing up another set of new rear brake pads as im getting sick of waiting for my qfm's to rock up.
  18. not bad man, not bad at all. pm'ing you now with that site i was telling you about the other day.
  19. pretty well. and yes, i am. but a) ive spent all the money getting it to a point where its a reliable go fast car, and b) the motorkhana and hill climb make up 2 of 3 days ill legally be able to drive my since january and until... november. i think. and if i still had my licence, id still be enjoying my weekly hills runs. which is probably harder on my car.
  20. new "s" series plates. $13,500, ono.
  21. bargain!
  22. i wouldve preferred a 'cool story bro' meme. but that is sufficient.
  23. excellent. ordered brake pads on monday, and was assured theyd be here by today. guess what? theyre not here. and i have a motorkhana and a hill climb coming up. im somewhat f**ked off. means i gotta spend another couple hundred bucks on brake pads. money i shouldnt have to spend. f**kin excellent.
  24. i could be mistaken, but im fairly sure theyre identical?
  25. have you tried hitting it? or yelling at it?
