  1. yes. yes i am. thinking te37's or cr kais. rota knock offs though, of course. i think you could be accused of being one, yeah. i dont. nope. worth acquiring?
  2. thats the plan. i wanna cement my wheel whore status.
  3. aint democracy grand?
  4. theres a pretty significant difference between a f**ked out street tyre with no tread and an engineered full slick with 5mm of high quality rubber to get through.
  5. thats not bad dude. i pay more than that for a 200 with minimal mods (... i havent updated a few grand worth of stuff...).
  6. my dads been spotted in the 200 more than i have.
  7. theyre heavy, yeah, but that doesnt make equips lightweight. just makes them lighter than china shit.
  8. fuel pump issue is hopefully fixed, gauges have arrived, castor rods are on the way, brake lines are being ordered now, and oil is changed.
  9. lol. swirl pot = reversible. fuel cell on the other hand...
  10. yes. i have to stop and hit refresh for it to actually post.
  11. at the moment, yes, but unofficially. theres still 90,000 odd votes to be counted. if theres enough liberal votes in that 90,000 odd for them to get another 2 seats, itll be a hung parliament.
  12. i find his promise to get his ministers out to reconnect with the people rather amusing. itll never happen. but if he/one of his cronies happens to darken my doorstep the only thing ill care to talk about is the race track.
  13. ugh. my foglights havent arrived yet. and the bloke i bought them off isnt replying to pm's. hooray. and some other shit i ordered and paid for hasnt arrived yet. sent to the wrong f**king address. well done. theyre sending more out, but its gonna be another 5 days apparently. somewhat annoyed at the moment.
  14. got me f**ked. downloaded a couple random 'personas', one of them apparently had background music.
  15. fixed. firefox 3.6 caught me out for a sec there, lol.
  16. kumho ku36 225/45/17 (mounted on a 9 inch wheel) Dry: 8/10 Wet: 5/10 Value for $$: 10/10. paid about 160 squid ea, use them as steer tyres, lasted 2 track days and a shit ton of spirited driving so far, got plenty of life left in them yet, and i cant fault them. dunlop direzza dz 101 235/45/17 (mounted on a 9 inch wheel) Dry: 8/10 Wet: 8/10 Value for $$: ??/10 got them basically new on my current set of wheels, decided to keep them instead of using what was left in the ku25's i was using before. very predictable tyre, gives you plenty of if its about to give, they warm up quickly, and provide plenty of grip, will definitely use again.
  17. currently im running rda slotted rotors all round with gfm a1rm's up front, qfm hpx's out back, and penrite syn 600 fluid. so far so good. front pads have lasted 2 track days (at mallala, which is notoriously hard on brakes), and 5,000ish kays of street driving with more than half of that in the hills. no problems with fade or excessive wear on the rotors, but then im not silly enough to daily a cross over pad. no problems with squealing. hpx's have only been in since the last track day. that day i went through a set of oem rear pads, a set of bendix rear pads, and a pair of oem rotors. mild upgrade for a track day next month in the form of hel braided lines, might pack a set of a1rm's for the rear too. used to run acre street fighter pads on the front with the rda rotors. great for dailying, and alright for some mildly spirited driving, but when you start pushing them, the turn into complete junk.
  18. i wouldnt go bigger than a 225/45 kumho on an 8 inch wide wheel. they seem to run a pretty wide mould, look fairly big on an 8, and fit on a 9 with the barest angle on the sidewalls.
  19. can you confirm the offset? should say it on a sticker inside the wheel. are you at all willing to freight them interstate? id even take them without tyres if it makes it easier? cheers.
  20. a little excessive, yes, but not exactly out of the ordinary. and? cops obviously accounted for all possibilities. bald tyres is a stupid defect? since when? seriously, man the f**k up, you got a cop shop defect for something that is an obvious safety issue and youre complaining? remember, you own a skyline, they couldve made it a whole worse with very little effort.
  21. brake lines, oil change, alignment, and modding the fuel pickup* is all i have left to do. the rest is aesthetics. ha. *tempted to just go surge tank and 044 to solve the issue permanently though.
  22. im becoming a wheel whore. work equip, 3 piece wheel, 5 x114.3, 17 x 9 +17 all round in pretty rad condition, properly murdered in metallic black, bolts are still chrome, some paint has scraped off from tyres being mounted, and theres a few small runs in the paint, and one of the caps is *slightly* munted. but still sits fine, and you dont notice it unless youre looking. getting bored and need something to better suit a possible brake upgrade. say... $1500 bare? or, swaps for some 17x9+17 cr kais, or something similiar and light weight with good caliper clearance and a cash adjustment either way. contact me here or on 0408961657 (after 5pm).
  23. http://vimeo.com/10275168 is rad.
