i got solid taste in drink. lol. after work, teds get a pretty solid hammering (5 squid a pint, cant complain). my usual weapon of choice is cc dry. when i want something different, ive got bottles of small batch, gentleman jacks, makers mark, other rad stuff like that. and when im feeling really fancy, 22 year single malt glenfiddich, on the rocks (no more than 2 pieces of ice though).

passed relatively trouble free. only faults were the seatbelts not retracting properly, but he was happy with those because they still locked when he yanked on them. and the windscreen washer which worked perfectly when i checked everything this morning didnt work come inspection time, but the inspector put that down to water restrictions. dude was a f**kin champ. he laughed at the boost gauge defect, but the reasoning he gave for the wheel defect was pretty sound. apparently people have a habit of taking to their wheels with a drill press to make them fit, and considering some of the calls ive had about my wheels, im not going to dispute that.

so in a couple weeks time ill be enjoying a holiday from my licence for 6 months. with that in mind, i decided id stop being a slack flamin mongrel get the car ready for regency; standard cat and exhaust have been fitted. standard boost solenoid refitted. standard suspension with spring packers refitted. standardish wheels. engine/engine bay/underbody/diff housing have all be cleaned to within in an inch of their lives. if it doesnt pass first time, im gonna be f**kin shocked. its booked in for friday morning, and ill be getting my old man to take it through, so i should be sweet. on the plus side though, ive sold my wheels. decided against getting the cst's (cant be f**ked), so ive narrowed my choices down to these 2... well... 3; CR Kais, matte carbon, 17 x 9 +17 all round. Work Equip, murdered, 17 x 9 +18/19. or basically the exact same shit as i just sold... but with caps. (17 x 8 +5, 17 x 9 +11... yup, same.) opinions? sorta leaning towards the equips at the moment, always wanted a set of bastardised wheels, not sure how they'll work on a red car though.
