  1. but not anywhere near as impressive.
  2. twink'll love you for that update luke. pretty well. ill let lukey tell that story though.
  3. ha, cheers mate, i get a lot of mixed reactions about the wing. but i dont mind it, and it suits the feel of the car pretty well i reckon.
  4. luke is used to 11ty billion inch stroker equipped ford v8's. rb's are lacking somewhat by comparison.
  5. i hella misread that. whoops.
  6. yup, thats the one.
  7. what gave me away? i mean, height of fashion sorta shit; whats not to like? ...
  8. for anyone that was on the ns cruise, lukey was the dude riding shotgun in the 14.
  9. maybe something a little more ford like. brutal in its kerb smacking ability.
  10. i hate you because of that ed hardiot cd thing.
  11. lol lukey. lamest intro post ever.
  12. well, copped a canary at the ns christmas cruise on sunday. little pissed off, more of an inconvenience than anything though, was done for a lot of shit that isnt illegal, but whatever. also bought a clutch for five fifths of f**k all, no idea what it is though, any ideas? gonna pick it up on friday and take it down to acs for them to have a sus.
  13. sportmax 501, $200 a wheel.
  14. nice dude, i was thinking about bidding on some seats so i could on sell them for a profit, i couldnt track the auctions from work. and getting the old man to track the clutch was hard enough. but yeah, picked this up for $49 +13.5%. not many details (read, none at all) but its for an sr, and it looks pretty beefy. ill pick it up friday and take it down to acs so they can have a look. i could almost cry im so happy right now.
  15. 15/16 at a minimum dude.
  16. oi luke, my wheels are in stock. if ive got the money to do it this week, ill be ordering them.
  17. just won what looks like a twin plate clutch for sweet f**k all money. pick it up friday and take to acs to see if it needs a rebuild. even if it does itll work out cheaper than the clutch i was looking at.
  18. hmmm... theres a fairly beef lookin clutch to suit an sr20 on the grays link, might pick it up (current bid is $19) and see if acs can rebuild it.
  19. properly mounted dude. and not leaking. ill be hella surprised if my kit isnt passed. and i doubt you need braided lines for it to pass, as long as the lines and fittings are designed for the job (not leaking), it shouldnt be problem. im using earls billet blocks with an earls core, earls high temp & high pressure rubber lines with speedflow fittings throughout.
  20. you sold that? devo'd. "loved" that car. whats next? funny, i saw some evos struggling to keep in the rear view of my datsun... i was smart enough to not crash though. still wanna steal your evo though, lol, looks mega tough. both were on the cruise, the 200 lunched a guard rail or another car... cant quite remember. either way, wouldnt have been pretty.
  21. mr niggles? dude, keep your bedroom pet names to the bedroom.
  22. yup, thats basically my way of thinking. the seat will probably be a no no at the end of the day though, while the rail is super solid (you yank on the seat and the car moves with it), it isnt an adr rail. and also being a 2 door car, im not dead certain, but im 90% sure that you cant legally rock a fixed back unless you basically remove the back seat and register it as a 2 seater. wheel nuts im not changing. his reasons were bullshit. and in the book tyrepower has about all this shit, wheels nuts are only mentioned in regards to the minimum number required per wheel, 3. the gauges ill be removing, but ill be quizzing the traffic guys at the local cop shop about placement when i swing past with the 200. oh, i will be. and if i have no luck there, im going to see if terry (troys dad) can take it through regency for me, im thinking they'll be kinder to an old mate doing someone a favour than they will be to me.
  23. well, ive got the paperwork in front of me, defect category is marked as minor. but apparently, being suspension related, that requires a full regency inspection. aids. but im gonna try for a copshop clearance anyway.
  24. as most know, defected at the ns cruise for the following; legit; 1) suspension too low. (its sacked, simple, i know it, you know it, they know it, not complaining) 2) tint too dark. (true, its 35% when it should be 70%, but realistically, as soon as i put my sunnies on, im driving illegally anyway) retarded/not so legit; 1) boost gauge not permitted. (no reason given, not mounted on crash pad, not obscuring speedo/tacho, nothing was said about water temp gauge on the steering column). 2) wheels have extra holes, not suited. (multifit rears, as purchased, apparently illegal for reasons that i couldnt comprehend) 3) wheel nuts to be replaced with standard. (im using anodized red steel wheel nuts, these are apparently not legal because theyre less likely to bend or break compared to standard wheel nuts... i shit you not). i was also warned that my adr approved velo bucket seat was unsafe because the cushions are removable and might come off at any given time while driving, its been in for 2 trackdays and has stayed exactly where i put it, complete bs. i expect the last 4 entries to be laughed at when i get to regency.
  25. popped down to adelaide tyrepower today, theyre letting me use the workshop, their tools, and their collective experience with regency to get me off defect, cool, the weekend i spent helping them relocate just paid for itself. only if its deserved. i wouldnt just laugh at someone being defected for the f**k of it, unless i know that person that is. had a good laugh about it with bengi last night cause we both got done for some ridiculous shit.
