I got an e-mail back from them saying $22000 for the body/chasis... I thought of selling my skyline and getting one but i couldn't find a wreck under $15000... So a starting cost off $37000....

yeah it's for the standard gauge.... i think that you might need it if your running a standard ecu...

Does this work with an aftermarket ecu... I have a Haltech E11v2 and couldn't get this to work. Just tried it with the standard ecu aswell and couldn't get it to work... must be doing something wrong... just to clarify that you center the steering wheel to start with then turn it to the right at least 20 degrees, then back to center - repeating 5 times Brake 5 times All within 10 secs Then brake again turn wheel again clutch in, into gear, then out then diagnostic mode is suppose to start...

The re-shimmed diff... makes to much noise going slow and turning... also she doesn't like that it's got a bit of power now... she's scared to drive it lol....

R12 is not used anymore.... it got phased out years ago due to it been a high ozone depletion refrigerant. never heard anything about -30...

wouldt have a clue on $ depends where the leak is... most likely a hose so it shouldn't be to much... but then you have the price of the refrigerant and labor on top... just take it back to him and tell him to finish the job... he should be able to find the leak if he put dye in...

What ECU, do you have power figures? how much boost, when was the engine built and who by.... can u put up photos of the damage?

so u would tell a customer that you have broken the law by putting refrigerant into a system with a know leak, so he can go and tell everyone... I suggest you look up the conditions of your refrigerant handling license...

GT35 your looking at a minimum of 4300rpm with a 0.84 rear on a 25, so T04z would probably be pretty bad... what is the car used for

your air con seems cooler on 3 because the air is moving over the coil slower giving it more time to cool, on 4 it is moving to fast to cool properly... <------ indicating a leak... He should not have told you that their is a small leak on it and he's gassed it up to get you through summer (that is illegal he can be fine majorly for that...) i would be taking it back and asking him to do the job properly...

You should go work for an industry (i know there isn't much around the brissy area... but if your willing to move it'd probably be worth it...) work as a process worker for a couple of years and then get an adult apprenticeship through that company, if you are previously employed by a company they can't drop your pay if you take up an apprenticeship ... that's what i did and as a first year refrigeration apprentice i was earning more than you are now (because i was still getting payed the same as a process worker ),

Importing indicates you are bringing it in from another country... Not sure about WA but do you need to go over the pits or just get a roadworthy??? if you go over the pits i would say you need to get the car as stock as you can... Atmo BOV's wont pass, depends on the FMIC (if reo has been cut it wont pass), gauge is ok, not sure about remote start...

Not quite sure but i think series 2 were starting to bring in the Neo engines... So different Head internals... cams, lifters... that's what i thought anyway...

Have you connected the boost controller properly? different for external W/G, What ecu are u running? Has it been tuned? When does it come on boost?
