  1. lol... yeah i think your right... mine just feels like it's on rails... sore kidneys when i drove it back from the tuners (130km's on sh)t Highway)... But i have been driving the SS for a year... nice soft suspension, couch seats i think i just got soft, a couple of days around the streets and i was loving it...
  2. Don't know much about spring setups but my Tein coil-overs are great.. a little bit hard sometimes can adjust them softer but i love the great cornering with them... my tuner fell in love with them.... when i picked up the car he commented how good it was to drive...
  3. Yeah it's like the Brit version, But really it is the same show but Australian... i thought it was alright, but like mentioned they need time to find their own way... at the moment the producers would have handed them a rough script and said read this...
  4. An Rb30dett is normally the 26/30 or a 25/30 with a custom twin turbo setup...
  5. I think it'd be about $100 not sure but
  6. Measure it all up then take your manifold wastegate flange and buttweld fittings to somewhere that can do it... wont need your turbo or dump... after you have it all done take it to an exhaust shop to go from the wastegate to your dump (thats if your not running a screamer pipe... well you'll need them to make that for you anyway.) an advantage to this way is that the exhaust gas is been flowing into the wastegate without restriction, as it's in the exhaust gas flow.
  7. Putting a wategate off the exhaust housing can cause turbulence... you could drill it but it would take a long time as u'd have to use a small bit and drill about 30 holes to do the circle, also the manifold is split in the middle so 3 cylinders/runners per side, i'd mark it out and take it to a Fab or engineering shop and get them to oxy or gouge it out, also u'll need them to scallop the wastegate pipe that goes over the back of the manifold as it's not a circle it goes down the back a bit, buy the buttweld fittings from Bunnings should cost less than $15 for both...
  8. we tried an oxy first but the cast is sh)t so it was a pain in the a$$ ended up gouging it out... we didn't preheat or post heat, just mig'ed it up.... only problem was warping which is why i said bolt it down when cutting and welding...
  9. Haha... i thought about the injectors when i first read it, didn't even think when you said something was wrong....
  10. I've done it before... I got my brother to do the cutting and welding for me, not that hard just get to 90 degree butweld fittings, cut the hole in the back of the manifold, scallop one 90 degree to fit on the back of the manifold, line up the other fitting and weld... make sure you bold it down when heating the manifold so u don't warp it...
  11. Thats just showing off now.... Wanna put up some Specs.... so everyone can drool some more.
  12. where did u buy it from, if you got it from a car yard take it to them and insist that they buy you one...
  13. open in paint then save it... should get it small enough, if not stretch in down to shrink the pic...
  14. Yeah it all depends on what you wanna use the car for... I'm just trying to see how much power i can get out of her before she pops lol... then I'll do a forged 25/30, just for less lag... My car isn't bad to drive... fair bit of lag but once you get up on boost it's all worth it... only problem is getting traction when it starts spoolin.
  15. Unplug the igniter and injector loom... crank it a few times then reconnect and start the car....
  16. Looking for a S13 sr20de throttle cable maybe sr20det if they're the same length... if you have a S13 half cut your stripping let me know a price... Delivered to Gladstone Qld 4680
  17. It wont just need regassing, it'll have a hole in the pipes or your compressor is RS (most likely)
  18. Oh and the Vipec is very cheap compared to the Haltech.......
  19. Yeh i'm running the Haltech, i went haltech as alot of tuners can tune them and it will support any mod you wanna do... it runs nice, very powerful, a few little things i still have to get fixed up (but thats because of my setup and tuner...) Still can drive it like a factory car there is a new ecu out called the Vipec There is a lot of discussion about it on this forum i think it'd be worth a go... The only reason i didn't use it was it wasn't released when i got mine... Here's a link http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pl...html&hl=ecu
  20. Are the standard springs etc or A/M???
  21. r u willing to drop your price a little???
  22. Slide are pretty good for injectors...
  23. Disconnect the plugs under the car and test drive it... their is a fault check you can do... should be able to find it with a search..
  24. Interested in 2x 235/45/17 and 2x 255(or 265)/40/17 let me know a price and i'll see if i can afford them this month...
