  4. go for a big company like RioTinto or something... im an adult apprentice and get paid very well but the normal first years get some thing like $2300 a month... don't quote me on it but im pretty sure it's about that.
  5. I'm not sure what it's from I bought it as a new GT35 compressor housing... i have a GT35/40 and didn't even try to put it on, just wanted the turbo on the car... Not sure whether or not they are interchangeable...

  7. I've always been told that they only insure the items that you have listed. but if it makes the car unroadworthy it might make they put up a fight...
  8. don't have to but it's alot easier... you should be able to just unbolt the four bolts that go on to the pulley and pull it out the top...
  9. I've just put a GT35 on my standard manifold with a bit of modification (external W/G <-- see pic) and a 10mm spacer welded onto the T3 flange looks good not all that noticeable once pipes are in...
  10. Yeh i think i have it under control now... i'll finish the exhaust and diff then i'll put the Power FC in and get it tuned... Cant wait to feel her kick now... going to be so much fun...
  11. Got it going Ended up being the fuel lines lol... Now it's hard to get to idle properly been playing with the aac and the computer idle control and slowly getting their Thanks heaps for all your help and being so quick guys,

  13. Nothing much... sounds like it wants to start but just doesn't go... The GT35 is the most important part of the 100K service... LOL No i don't think it would be, I triple checked everything when i put it back together....
  14. hi all.... I have no idea now... hoping some1 can help me, I have just finished my 100k service (everything their is ok it turns no problem) Installed a GT3540 on the stock manifold with external wastegate and a greddy style plenum.... it will turn like it wants to start but it wont fire.... it has fuel and spark. it kinda feels like an earth or vacuum leak, but i can't find anything. what else could it be??? Thanks in advance Josh

  17. i'd say 3" front pipe and 3 1/2" cat back but ideally 3 1/2" turbo back

    Have you tried you RACV I know RACQ do it...
  22. http://www.rtec.ch/webshop/product_info.php?products_id=136 Try putting your T piece inline with your boost gauge so you know that it is not the vacuum line...
  23. if you shop around you should be able to get a FMIC kit and front section of your exhaust for $1000... You should be able to fit it all yourself, they are both easy to do if your not confident just take your time... I think the best mods are the one's you d yourself a lot more rewarding.
  24. you should be able to weld one in or silver solder one in (as long as it's done properly). you may have to take it out depending on how hard it is to get the old pipe out and the new one in...
