  1. and here's their website: http://www.recaro.jp/ Dave
  2. Haven't had chance to check for their site, but here's a photo of a recaro rail for a skyline... looks to me like the same rail is suitable for both 2WD and 4WD skylines, which I take to me R34 GTT and GTR...
  3. hehe, I'm not afraid to admit it - but could someone tell me what it was before it was mutilated?
  4. and a pic of a recaro seat rail for the R34... Not sure, but it does look like you'd have problems fitting the seats.
  5. here's a pic that might help. Not sure whether its a GTT or GTR though
  6. i've seen a few GTT's with GTR seats so it is possible. Not sure if you have to change the rail, it might be so (there's always a lot of sale on Yahoo Auctions Japan). I've thought about upgrading my seats, but GTR seats usually go for silly prices over here...
  7. some more notice the color-coordinated rear drum brakes...
  8. how about these, skyline style lights for your honda or the bumpers: and the complete list of kits can be found here
  9. Mine too

    Jap streets.

I should add that around where I live you can find little street side maps. They give you details of all the buildings in the area and their numbers, and in most cases the owners/residents surname. Makes finding a house somewhat easier! And most of the major roads do have names/numbers, such as Yamanote Dori, or Route 20, or Bypass... It's not too bad when you get used to it.

    Jap streets.

In some ways the system does make sense - well, the Japanese postmen (and women) don't seem to have any problems BUT it seems that in a lot of cases block 6 is nowhere near block 5... or in my case, I live in house 2640, which is next to 2604 which is next to 2582 I believe! But I do live out in the countryside!
  12. R32's biggest problem is this: The car is so much fun to drive that it leads to excessive use of ones right foot. While this in itself is not bad, the fuel bills at the end of month can lighten ones wallet considerably...
  13. OK, come one then! Do tell! Most of the R32's are at least 10 years old now, enough time has passed. The secret can be revealed! You know you want to!
  14. Starts this coming Fri (9th), ends on Sunday. We're going on Sat (10th)
  15. hehehe. for me: Mitsubishi minicar, 660cc's of RAW POWER! = daily thrasher, sorry driver! Skyline = weekend toy.
  16. Well spotted there my friend!
  17. Ooooh Mysterious! Don't tell me. There's a secret ejector-seat switch hidden under the dashboard? Am I close?
  18. Yeah, I was wondering about that. Could well be "pure tron". Never heard of it before! couple of other things I wasn't sure about: ST Signal? That mean indicators? and electrical parts (B)? And I never knew there was a rear cigar lighter in a skyline!?
  19. Thanks for the offer, but me thinks it's cheaper for me to go to my local Super Autobacs and get one than for me to buy yours and have it shipped from Aus to Japan! :D
  20. Nah, LM-GT4's are where its at! and OK, I don't have a GTT. It's a GT-V. V is for Victory ya know! :D
  21. They wont! Unlike the R34's with the interior MFD, it'd be really difficult to spot a nice conversion complete with guards, wheels, spoiler, bonnet etc. Only giveaway would be a quick peak under the bonnet. It'd look good, for sure and I've seen a couple of nicely done R34's over here. Not seen a R33 yet though. However, who would want to go to all that trouble and then drive around like a Grandma? Not to mention, if you did race and got beat you'd have a lot of people going around saying how (for example) their S15 just whipped a GTR's ass...
  22. Thanks! Body kit is in the pipeline (though I quite like the East Bear kit), but before that I want to get my rims upgraded...(TE37's or LM-GT4's in white! ) and both of those mods are on the back burner at the mo - baby due at the end of March so no cash at the mo...
  23. it can be done, but as previously said you'd need the front guards, front bumper, (maybe bonnet too) and then have all the hassle of cutting. welding, matching and spraying the rear guards too. It just sounds like a little too much time, effort and money for a mod that isn't going to give you any power/perfornmance gains and is more than likely gonna have a lot of people crying "ahh, GTR wannabe!"
