  1. Have a good one mate
  2. Parag0n - congrats on the purchase, got to admit white R32 GTR's are nothing short of awesome. Just one question though, forgive my ignorance - but why do you have to wait till next August to get the car???
  3. I agree with Rezz, the best time of year is late summer - from Sept to November - the weather is cooler, there's plenty of festivals/events to go to. The illegal stuff goes on all year, but there seems to be more stuff going on around Sept time than any other. A lot depends on where you're planning to go and what you're wanting to see...
  4. Rezz! Congrats - the V35 sedans are great cars, especially when lowered with a nice kit.
  5. I dunno if it's just me, but just lately there seem to be so much slagging off the different models/specs of skyline? Why so much in-fighting on a skyline board?!
  6. Those GTR conversion Stagea's look awesome. The wife thinks I should get rid of the skyline in favour of a more suitable "family" car, especially with our 2nd son due next march. If I ever give in (not likely! ) Then I'd probably go for a stagea and have a front end conversion done. GTR wannabe? Maybe, but it looks damned cool nontheless...
  7. ditto for me - had a small leak on the cam cover because the screws were only finger tight...
  8. There aren't many places I know of specializing in GTSt's. You're best bet would be a general car exporter/dealer Here's some more I know of: Rama Don't know much about them. Great Company enter the site and look under "cars" I B C Japan Kadoco Good luck Dave
  9. when you say not working, what do you mean? If the fans are going but you're only getting warm air it could be the coolent needs replacing, or there could be a leak in the system. If you're not even getting the fans going, the problem could be electrical. Also be aware that sometimes Japanese owners will strip out the aircon system to save weight and avoid losing power! I've seen this done to a couple of cars.
  10. I recently changed the stereo in my skyline, after putting it all back together my indicators weren't working. Spent an hour or so checking all the fuses, relays, flasher units - all were fine. In the end it turned ou I had forgot to reconnect the hazard lights switch so nothing was working!
  11. it should be on the blue plate, at the back on the engine bay on the drivers side. Plate includes chassis number, engine code, transmission code, paint code and interior trim codes...
  12. For sites in Japan (though they may not necessarily export cars) Zele International Best R Freed R If you're in Europe and want a top quality GTR, then Prospec have to be one of the best...
  13. Not a good idea to go with Kaizousha (a.k.a. King Buyer) See why here
  14. Mark, Thanks for checking out my site. To be honest I do miss my old GTS, it was a rock solid car, never let me down and looked great. If I could have kept it along with my new car I would. Regarding power/torque below 3,000RPM - you've got to be careful when choosing an aftermarket exhaust - get something too big, you'll lose a lot of back pressure and you're low end power/torque is gonna get worse, not better. as an example, look at this power graph for a Fujitsubo Legalis R exhaust - notice bottom end power and torque are way, way lower for the aftermarket exhaust than the std one... Their super R shows an improvement, but you're not really gaining much below 3K RPM: Just saying, choose an aftermarket exhaust carefully and make sure it's specifically designed for an N/A car. Dave
  15. Access to the album is denied!
  16. Coffee in a can! I dunno about aus, but I've never seen coffee in a can in England. Thought it was pretty weird at first, but now I think its kinda cool - I have a hot drinks machine a few metres from my house, so often it's quicker to run to the machine for a hot coffee than it is to actually make one myself!
  17. Rezz - you've got yourself in trouble with the Russian SAU members now!
  18. Anyone have any experience of big amps/subs causing HICAS to go all weird? A couple of people have reported such problems on the UK boards. I'm just wondering 'cause I have an amp/sub waiting to go into my R34, but I've been put off until I can be sure my car aint going to be shaking its ass to da music! :headbang: Dave
  19. They look great...but they gotta weight loads! You'd probably lose some performance with those babies...
  20. Here you go: D-Speed AFAIK they are the only company to make clear lenses for the R32. They're also damned expensive!!!
  21. I believe a company called D-Speed make them. I'll try and dig out their url...
  22. hot hot hot :uh-huh:
