I was in the same situation, I use on board sound and was thinking of upgrading to a sounds card. Kept reading mixed reviews for sound cards around $100 they always had alot of bad points. I ended up picking up a set of logitech 5.1 Z506 for $77 which replaced some old Logitech 6.1 speakers and stuck with the onboard sound. The Z506's sound alot better than the old speakers better looks, better sounding quality the sub is a smaller box but goes harder with less distortion and the bass can be turned down further than the old speakers. In my opinion you could do one or the other and get a good result. Speakers just worked out to be a cheaper option for me and living in a unit and being able to turn the bass down was what sealed the deal.

I've been playing on and off since the beta. It's not bad but you get bored of it quick, I used to play Tribes 2 alot which was a hell of alot better than this. Ascend feels like a dumbed down version.

$1200 is very do able. Check out a seller called Pc Meal on ebay I have bought 2 computers from them and they have both been great, they have alot of options too. Personally I would go for at least a GTX560 vid card and a good brand name case and power supply.

Is that fitment with spacers?

I've had a Pentax Ist DS DSLR and I still have a Pentax K7 DSLR. Both hae been great and I've had no problems with either. The only issue is the cost on lenses, check out what good qualitly lenses will cost you. Other than a Pentax my second choice would be going with a Cannon DSLR, I've even thought about switching myself.

Were you able to fine the offset?

Info on another DLC pack, This one interests me more. The Armoured Kill DLC will bring more of what Battlefield 3 does best – vehicle mayhem. Armoured Kill will arrive in September and add new tanks, ATVs, and mobile artillery to the game along with new vehicle focussed maps, including “the biggest map in Battlefield history.” Fans of Caspian Border, rejoice!

Im really reluctant to put anymore money into this game, small tight maps doesn't sound apealing at all. Go play on a 24/7 subway map and you'll see what i mean.

I would start off with checking out all the bushes like people have already said then i would recommend bigger sway bars before coilovers. They are cheap for the gains you get, less body roll and don't effect the ride comfort, if anything its better ride comfort because your not falling out of your seat around corners.
