yeh guys im gonna go see the doctor now in joondie hosp.. hopefully nothing serious.. i didnt make a police report yet because the damage was quite little.. only 300 bucks to fix up the rear bumper.. everything else is fine.. thats why she didnt want to go thru the hassle of insurance coz it may cost more with excess and blah blah blah.. Ill see how much the medical fees are and if they are pretty high ill inform the lady that im gonna make a police report and make a claim with insurance.. Hey guys, Yesterday, when i was on scarborough beach road.. i was rammed from behind by a lady driving a honda accord.. i was in my gf's accord thankfully.. the situation is pretty much when there was a car in front of me by a few cars had to turn right, he had to stop and everyone else behind him including me stopped and waited.. then the lady admitted she was daydreaming and rammed pretty hard onto the accord.. the damage is not severe, but the impact was hard. My car was static and when the point of impact, her car was probably doing like 30-35kph.. stuffs that were behind near the back speakers flew to the front.. I noticed a bit of a neck pain a few hours after the accident.. and decided to see if it got worse after i slept.. and it did.. now it seems to be getting worse, im getting giddy.. and theres a small lump on my neck.. Anyone working in the medical field here that may have some advice for me? My sis is a doc in melb and she recommends me to go see a doctor and probably get an xray to get it checked out.. Its just a phobia that i had after my mom told me her colleague died.. her car was parked.. and a car just nudged her slightly from behind.. she didnt feel anything.. and a few days later she passed away from internal bleeding.. Please advise..

i just found out its a china turbo.. so not gonna rebuild.. gonna get a ITS GT30 later on and put it in and tune.. guess ill be off the road for quite some time..

i just gave a call to per4manz and they quoted roughly about 700+ for a rebuild, machining and adding a 360degree (something) to the turbo as im gonna be boosting it at 1.2bar once its tuned.. thats roughly about 15psi am i right? would u guys reckon i rebuild it or get a new one.. coz its already a high mounted and its the seals that are causing the problems.. I heard getting a same new turbo would be almost double the price.. Cheers Bernard

hmm.. thats very true.. but its just that on my current budget i cant do both at the same time.. and i still need the car as a daily.. so i figured tuning it first so i can still granny it and use it as a daily for now.. What about rebuilding turbos? is it worth it? would it be expensive? cheers Bernard

sorry i dont really know the exact specs until i go check it out.. i think should be a TRUST T3 turbo.. thats all i know i guess.. im a noobie If i get my mechanic to take the turbo out, he would be able to check the specs of the turbo and probably order the exact same one for me so i wont need a retune right? I heard running a car with an untuned ECU is bad.. real bad.. even if i granny it.. am i right? Cheers Bernard

Hi guys, I was thinking, my car is running on a t3 turbo now with an untuned MOTEC.. if i go and tune it now.. and when i get a new t3 which is a direct swap.. does it need a retune again? or can it run on the same settings coz its the same turbo just a new swap? Cheers Bernard

hmm.. so i should try to use a hair dryer and heat up the gunk for a few minutes then try to rub it again with the eucalyptus oil? im just rubbing it with a piece of cloth with eucalyptus oil.. is that right? Cheers Bernard

Hi guys Just a question.. my car's got the 4WDTURBO and TOYOTA badges on it for quite a while.. i guess it was there since it was built.. I removed the badges but the residue is taking a very VERY hard time to get it out.. I tried the NO MORE GOO orange oil and it didnt help.. i tried eucalyptus oil and it doesnt help.. does anyone have any ideas? Cheers Bernard

Umm.. currently its got forged internals, motec, t3 turbo(requires to be changed as wearing out) and all the standard mods such as turbo back zorst and pods etc. Currently trying to save up some cash first to: 1. Change to a new t3 turbo or get a gt30 turbo 2. Tune the MOTEC 3. Rebuild the gearbox Im hoping to get at least 250++awhp and try to make it to mid 12's in the 1/4 mile

haha.. well.. no matter what.. its still a gt4.. so im not gonna spend THAT much money on it to fix it up.. rather get a gtr and put in just a few grand and FLYYYYYYY

umm.. the t3 turbo thats on the engine now is almost gone.. so im either gonna get back another new t3 or gonna get a gt30. Then ill go and get the motec tuned and also probably rebuild the gearbox. Then ill be ready for cruises

yeah it was the gt4 for sale on this forums. yes i bought it from CK. Just need to spend another 3-4grand and the car will be ready to have at least 280hp awhp

hey everyone, I've taken almost a year off from performance cars and since im financially more secure now, i've decided to get back into it but sorry, i didnt buy a skyline somehow if i wanna buy a skyline again it has to be a GTR.. nothing else.. so thats over my budget Anyways.. the new ride's a 1990 ST185 Celica GT4 (needs a few grand to get it ready) but most of the major mods have been done.. so.. ill keep you guys informed Cheers Bernard
