  1. HI to see if it is your coil pack try borrowing a known working one and replace your number six one and if the car runs fine it will confirm that its your coil pack. you could also check that coilpack for cracks in the rubber and tape it up and see if that improves it.. Swap it with another cylinder and if that piston doesnt fire then its the coil pack any of these will confirm a dead coilpack.. hope that helps Corey,
  2. hey, mdf will be fine my whole custom boot is made from mostly mdf (heaps of different thicknesses) and some fibreglass but yeah mdf will be fine just be sure to put some foam block or similar underit or it will vibrate against the car heaps.. hope that helps. Corey,

  7. Hi all as the topic says. I want a respray. does anyone know of a good car spraypainter on the central coast... willing to go to newcastle/sydney if i have to but would prefer local.. any help will be greatly appreciated.. Cheers Corey.
  8. Also look in the for sale section of SAU.. as mentioned the door trims can be had pretty cheap.
  9. +1 ^ also get some tyre black and use it on all you hoses ( radiator hoses etc. ) brings them up like brand new and leaves them with that wet look.. Corey.
  10. Try looking through the yellow pages and calling all the fibreglassers and boat builders in there and tell them what your after. my dad is a fibreglass boat builder and they use carbon fibre for heaps of things. one of the shops should have a flat mould large enough to make a sheet for you. just call and get a few qoutes to ensure you get a normal / cheap price. and they can make a one off piece for you.. I think the reason you cant find anything on google is becuase there isnt really a market for mass produced flat sheets of carbon. plus all the fibreglassers websites will only promote what they make not what they can make. goodluck with your quest hope all goes well. Corey
  11. ^^ where did you order yours from craved?? Cheers Corey
  12. A nice and unique bar.. possible that it is a custom job.. do you know anything of the cars history ?? also if it came over from japan that way its probably from one of the many many workshops over there. ive heard that the amount of parts available in japan is just plain ridiculous.. some of the smaller workshops probly dont market worldwide or even have a website for that matter.. Corey
  13. buy a series two front halfcut ( without motor if you can find one or sell motor) make sure you get all panels, bonnet and bonnet release and rio etc. in reasonable to good condition ( less fixit work before painting) EDIT: don't forget the headlights.. swap the front guards, bar, bonnet etc. onto you car and then get it all sprayed or have it sprayed prior to fitting its up to you. then hey presto series two conversion you could go the whole hog and replace your dash aswell to get the dual airbags and all the seats and interior trim if you wanted but then you should probably just buy a series two IMO. Corey.
