How Much Does A Rb20det/rb25det Gearbox Weigh
123456 replied to AHH31's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Ohh so the box in the magna's is stronger than the rb20 box, spose it is newer and needs a larger/stronger box or the whale won't move -
Are you turning it on full lock when your pulling out? because (althought my line doesn't) most of the cars ive driven/seen/been in whine on full lock
-
I've done probably 5000, but i know a guy with a 180 (2871 or some garret turbo on it)who's had it blocked for 2 years and another with a s14 (running 15psi) who's had it blocked off a year
-
Yeh, it should help between changes, check that if u chuck the clutch in while your on boost it doesn't stall, mine does sometimes Anyway, pepsi why not coke
-
Gotta make sure u set the date as any date, because default on the search form is last 30 days Ne wa, i just got my insurance renewal and i'm very happy, it dropped from 1900-1450, on account of me now being a rating 3. DO you have a bad driving record? Edit: im also with justcar
-
Both sides theres like one guy saying it'll blow up, and saying that his blew up the day he changed it over.. No one else has recorded anything else of the sort, and the amount of people running big turboes or stock turboes on hi-boost without BOV's shows that if theres any extra wear it's very hard to notice.. It's certainly not going to cause any short term problems

Holden Ve Commodore Wheels Car Of The Year !
123456 replied to monaroCountry's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I don't read wheels anymore, do you know why? the VE commodore. They had so much coverage in wheels, full articles with build processes, rant reviews of every car, numerous pages of comendation, a entire wheels magazine and poster devoted to the VE besides from the actual Wheels issue which came out with the VE's release Holden has payed alot of money to wheels methinks.. no other car mag has that much coverage.. not surprised it won -
Your R32's Fan On High Not Blowing That Hard?
123456 replied to Cubes's topic in General Maintenance
Hmm, that vent doesn't look familiar, but mines pretty shagged at the moment, not very cold and sometimes vents dont open fully, so i was hoping to clean it out/maybe replace the motors Ne ways, how did u get to those vents? Are they up behind the dash? Did u need to take the dash off? thx -
i agree, don't do it in the skyline, if u wheel, spin it the tiniest bit or the instructor doesn't fancy hoons, your probably screwed. It's not hard to get, i got mine with about 2 weeks practice and no paid lessons.. Hardest bit was the stupid computer test, that things retarded, so many things flying at you and buttons to tap

Just out of curiousity how is it possible for air to flow back through the comp wheel? like im guessing it doesn't stop the impeller spinning, but how does it happen, does it flow back through the comp housing and whilst stopping all air slow down the impellor heaps or does it just travel around the impellor or wa? Was trying to figure it out the other day

he was serious

ditto with this guy (cept i had 3 bolts snap which had only been replaced 2 months before), in that it went from quiet to loud and i lost performance a lil, probably because the gasses leaking out the side disrupted airflow or something, but i definitely noticed more pull after having it fixed. The place i took it too kept snapping bits on mine, couple of diamond tipped ones to, ended up having to use some water drilling thingo, go figure

It's on ebay for $6500, my mate just sent me a link.. Good luck to him
-
Especially since it happened as soon as you started it, i doubt it would have mixed in to the fuel much at all for the first 20 or 30 seconds
-
Hmm wouldnt 230rwkw be a bit beyond the capabilities of a remapped r32 ECU? But yeh, he does good work, i think mine was 650 or thereabouts.

lies! i live in northern and there all a bunch of asses to me. Must just be because of the way i look or something. My cars never defectable, but they're always so rude.. a while ago they searched my car, without even asking me, pulled the trims off the sides of my doors and threw everything out of my boot on the ground.. they wouldnt give me badge numbers either but i think they were from some drug related thing.. dacked my mate on the roadside and put there hands around his boxers to.. lol, least it was a chick cop..

I've read one like this, the problem is as follows: 2. Turn wheel left and right 20deg a few times, i've also read turn it left and right 5 times.. does this mean left 5, right 5, or left, rightleftrighleftrightleftrightleftright, or is it infact just a few turns? The skys-the-limit- handbook says the same thing, i dont get it) 3. Pump the brake 5 times then once more.. wtf is with that, if it's 5 then once more, why not say 6? or do u do 5 then wait then 1 more? The skys-the-limit- handbook says the same thing, i dont get it) 4. Haven't heard of putting it in gear and then out 5. need to keep speed under 10km/h Thats going by the tutorial in the skys the limit handbook and from what you've said Anyways my problem is that no matter what i try i just can't get into it. Can someone please go enter into it and write down, in here exactly what u did

123456 of course Nah not really that'd be gay
-
wa, they call off pursuits at only 160? Or is that for residential and a higher speed set for highway pursuits?
-
Is the cefiro the red topped, older model engine in that year?
-
Yeh, mine went up $30 for larger turbo, fmic and pod
-
ohh true.. Thats weird, dunno why they wouldn't keep the same fonts on all slimlined plates That sucks, i had best plates ever picked out.. cost me about 6 hours of work time to -_-

The apexi's aren't as loud as some of the other brands. Everyone has them, so i'd assume they're the most popular choice. I have a DRIFT filter on mine, it flows at pretty much the same rate as the apexi's and is quite a bit louder (main reason i got it was coz its a tight blue colour, goes with intercooler joints and my yellow paint) Apexi ones would probably filter dust and crap better though.. Still $30 for a DRIFT one $150 for a apexi one.. and your probably gona lose power over stock box, idk just some stuff to consider

Just got a call back from vicroads (emailed them other day) Turns out there speeding cameras have a problem with identifying the smaller numbers on the slimlined plates or something.. Which doesn't make too much sense to me as u can get other slimlined plate designs with numbers on them. Also turns out u cant trim ur plates , as it's defacing them or some crap.. Guess that means i'll get defected for wanting my plates to fit properly, balls
