You know which plug it is ?? Ive got the workshop manual , looked 2nite for ages but couldnt find it anywhere !!

Yea yea so anyway whats the deal ?? drive the car for 20 mins till it starts playin up and then unplug the o2 sensor ? or do it before?? is it hard to get too ? or will i have to take it out beforehand and take it for a drive ???

Naa thats awesome, ill just have to get my hands on a multimeter and have a play with the AFM's ... theres heaps of things for me to check / replace / fix hehe Thanks for all the replies

Well i just purchased the injectors 2nd hang which were sitting for a little while, not sure how long... and put them straight in, ill just have to get them taken out and cleaned ... weird thing is that it done the same thing with the previous injectors which were leaking fuel internaly really bad, this is what i thought the problem was ... I might check out the fuel filter tomorrow ?? Perhaps another coil might be on its way out ?? Ill just have to get it checked out on a dyno or something ...

Long story short - 1. car spluttering / not running smoothly when cruising in 4th gear @ 2800rpm (after 20 mins of driving / car warm) plus leaky injectors were getting really bad. 2. next day melted a coil. 3. changed all the injectors & replaced the coil - all good again. 4. took it for a drive today - same problem after the car is warm ... revs fine and goes hard still anytime but when im cruisin the car jumps back and fourth a little and runs all crappy. ok ... so its not the injectors, could be one of the other coils but i just wanted to know if the airflow meters would be affected by heat ? ive only just put on a set of hks airpods and ive noticed all the piping and the outside of the airpods were really hot after i come home, just wanna know if this could be the problem or perhaps an 02 sensor ? but yea the car runs perfect untill its warmed up ... then it just wont cruise nicely Thanks Max

Hi... Injectors were leaking fuel but the car still run fine, drove it this morning to a mates and it was working perfect but when I left it was missing and sounded like a couple of cylinders weren’t running ?? Anyway I took it home and popped the bonnet, 10 sec later I seen smoke coming out around the injectors so I switched the car off straight away. I changed the injectors and started the car, all idles fine but still has the same problem when I take off and start driving. Anyway I got some spark plugs to try out, I took off the top cover on the motor and I noticed some stuff that looked like it had leaked out or something from the ignition coil bracket, it smells kinda like burnt plastic and that smell started when the smoke happen (from the leaking fuel im assuming ??) Anyway ive attached a photo so perhaps someone would know what has happen. Havent done anything else to it yet incase someone can definitely say what the problem is. Thanks !! Max ... Ive pulled off the ignition coil bracket and seen that one or more are stuffed ... well at least one has melted stuff coming out of it *picture added ... How would something like this happen ? could it have happen from fuel leaking around the head and then smoking up from heat and burning it ?? perhaps some wires ?? Thanks !!

Hi, Just today my cars hicas light sorta flickers when I turn it off with the turbo timer running... Sometimes it starts clicking under the bonnet, sounds like a relay or something ?? It used to do it when I 1st got the car but it got fixed at the mechanics I think ?? so ill give him a call tomorrow and hope he remembers .. but hopefully its a common problem lol Thx ... Max

Hi, Considering putting some HKS twin air filters (green foamy ones) on my stock r32 gtr but ive read that the filtering wasnt that good and the engines tend to die after 130,000km from dirt and stuff... Anyone have any thoughts on this ? Should I just keep the stock air box ? The next upgrade is twin dumps and 3" with high flo cat, its already got 3" from the cat back, would the pods make a noticeable difference ?? Thanks Max

Hey really weird ... took a mate to show him the noise ... gave it a little aswell... dropped him home, went inside for 5 mins anyway when i drove off the car sounded ok ?? no more whistling ... so i reved 2nd gear out and it sounds ok now. This sucks in a way cause i want to know what it was ... can anyone suggest anything lol ?? Max

Ok so i glued it all up and took it for a spin , same noise tho car still goes hard and seems like the boost is a little higher .. or takes less time to get to full boost... anything else i can try before i take it to the shop??

ok well i just superglued it back together after giving it a good clean, going to take it for a spin in 30 mins or so ... you think this is the cause of the whistling noise tho ?

Hi, took my car out today.... put my foot down, as u do ... and anyway I could hear this weird air whooshing sound under boost, I popped the bonnet and found something apart, so I clicked it back together and went for another spin, same noise. When I checked under the bonnet again the thing had come apart once again. Ok so I dont know what its called but I took some photos, hopefully someone can help me, hopefully this is the cause cause it looks like i can tape it back together but I dont wanna cause im not 100% sure. Hmm lots of ideas there, thats great ... just got it back this arvo, havent tried anything silly yet, but im going for a spin in a sec and ill see how it goes... Just a single plate heavyduty r32 plate I got installed, stocko gtr with 3" from the dumps back, nothing crazy there so it should be able to handle up to and more HP then i have.

ouchy ... i will try it when i take it to the drags ... maybe once on the street to "test it" So is that the best method ??

Hi all, New to the site, just got myself an r32 GTR and its already in getting a new clutch (was already at the end of its life when i got it ) Anyway this is the 1st turbo car ive owned and im just interested in some launching suggestions, i didnt drop the old clutch but on the day it eventually died i think i started to get the launches good, just reving to around 3k and letting the clutch out till it starts to bite and then applying the rest of the power. Is that ok ?? or will i burn out clutches ?? Is dropping the clutch at 4-5krpm ok ? i really dont want to break anything on the car hey Well thanks for your replies in advance Max
