creaking suspension etc...
chiksluvit replied to Nrage33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Lots of possibilities: Upper control arm bushes, bad suspension top bearing (if it's faulty) etc Lowering the car excessively could cause the already worn bushes on upper control arm to rip and cause the arm to rub against the chassis, start from that first? What brand adjustable coilover is it? -

R33 Series 2 Dash Surround
chiksluvit posted a topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Got an r33 series 2 dash surround for sale includes all buttons and switches The dash surround is in good condition, the original finish is good still, no oxidation, good for series 1 upgrade or if your series 2 dash surround looks a bit tired Doesn't include the gearbox surround / ashtray bit $100, located in north Sydney, preferably pick up as it is pretty big and I'm not sure if I can find a box to fit this Photos will be available tonight -
R34 Gtt Turbo Bolt Onto R33 S2 Rb25det?

Toshi can get nistune installed and tuned for you -
I've got this result from cooling pro return flow with the OP6 highflow on r33 rb25, on probably the 6th or the 7th run and results still remained consistent, and probably at the limit of the turbo too. I guess if you're trying to squeeze more out of it then you might benefit from a larger FMIC. as a turbo developer I'm sure Stao needs more headroom to see the full potential of his turbos, but as an end user/ daily driver I wouldn't bother at the cost of drilling a hole in the engine bay when I'm already getting consistent results like this at this power level which is plenty for most people. note I tried to keep the boost at 17psi, but it just kept climbing on the higher rpms regardless of boost controller setting, hence the boost curve. But that's another issue altogether

looking to swap my R34 GTT after market cat back exhaust for stock cat back exhaust- need something absolutely quiet for now It is a Japanese one-piece 3 inch to 3.5 inch exhaust with a big stainless resonator in the middle and cannon at the end, has no restrictor, unsure of brand, good condition, some minor scratches at the bottom I believe, no dents or holes as far as I'm aware. the exhaust is currently still on car, you can just pay for labour to have the exhaust swapped over, no cash adjustment required. PM me if interested.

Have pulled the rear shocks out, washer on strut top isn't in the best condition and the top of one of the shaft is rounded. Top nut isn't frozen and there are no leaks however. It has been loosened so you can swap the springs over or to adjust the height In light of the condition, Price of bilstein rear suspension is now dropped to $50, includes GTR rear springs and strut tops

The fuel rail is exactly the same as what Johnny has except for the colour, so you will be able to go by this guide when doing the conversion.

Got a stock fuel reg adaptor for external mounting if you wanted to try that. Having also used the generic fpr, I haven't experienced any problems with it either

R33 Gtst Suspension
chiksluvit replied to tommo!'s topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I thought the softer part of the rear springs are meant to bind when installed with the weight of the car on them anyway? Effectively making the softer section helper springs to ensure that the springs stay captive at full droop since the rear shocks are so long
