  1. You can't put different size wheels on front and rear as the ATTESA get's freaked out if the rolling circumfrance between front and rear isn't spot on. I've been in a car with slightly different wheels front and rear and if you hold the car as it's not quite producing boost but just about the .0 bar level the car surges back and forward as ATTESA is trying to figure things out. It feels very odd and upsets the car no end, not safe. The wheels tend to look small in pics and from certain angles and the rear suspension looks higher than it is as the pics don't show it, but it's on a slant towards the road that made it sit up at the rear. There's bugger all movement in the front for 2 reasons, 1 is that any lower and it'll be riding on the bump stops and the driveshafts are about as far as I want to go regarding angle, also the legal limit to have the car off the ground is 100mm, at the front it's not far off that now. The rear is a different story, but I plan on getting some ZTune adjustable suspension soon once my pocket's recovered from this shock
  2. BCSO ? What's that ? It's Nismo side and rear skirts with Mines vents and other parts for the front bumper. Also Nissan oil cooler finisher kit gives the vents on the side of the bumper. The rear bumper got resprayed as some silly tart rear ended me late last year and so I've got a new sticker to replace it but that's going on this week too when they finish the rest of the spraying. I think you'll find it better in the flesh.
  3. It must be a personal preference thing, cos the car didn't even travel 1km on the original wheels. They came off the car as soon as it arrived from Japan. I just can't stand them........... It's hard for the photo's to give you a good idea of what the car looks like in the flesh. It does look alot more aggressive in the flesh. I didn't want to go to over the top with the kit, just something different from factory. I am also coming to the conclusion that maybe I need to get some GT1's or some other deeper dish, chunkier wheels, but it's just the cost, I've spent more than I wanted on this and the new clutch. Suspension is also on the shopping list. It has a blitz kit on it now, but not as adjustable as the Ztune or S Tune I'd like to get. Merli, I'll let you know about the clutch. ATS say that it will definitly last longer than the equivilent metal clutch. I've gone for the heavier 1350KG pressure plate which should be OK for 900HP, as the long term plan with my new engine is 600-700 but with lots of torque and drivability for circuit work. Pedal pressure with the heavier plate is 4KG heavier than stock, their twin with the 1050KG pressure plate apparently has the same pressure as the stock single and just as easy to drive.
  4. Thanks Dave, that was the plan all along, it's just the paint shop forgot ! Don't know how as I'm so fussy I was in and out sooooo much before I took the car to them to make sure it was all understood and they still forgot !! That's alright it will be sorted soon and I can't wait. Each time I look at the pics I like it more
  5. I would if the ride wasn't so rough ..............this car has a tendancy to make 18's look small. It's actually facing downhill a little too which makes the back sit up a bit too. Glad you like, I didn't want to go over the top, just nice and quiet if there is such a thing with a VSPEC II ! Should look better once it's really finished. It's going to get the last bit sprayed and it's getting new turbo's, wastegates and a new ATS twin plate carbon clutch so I'm going to be a happy little camper before the end of the week ! Then it's up to Auckland for the 2003 NZ AutoSalon.
  6. but I thought I'd post here to see what people thought. I've been gradually having parts arrive since Xmas for this kit for my car and it finally got fitted this week, although they've left some bits that they should have done, like painting some of the lower lip the same colour as the bumper so it was the same height around the car. Anyhow here's some pics, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. I'm struggling to get used to it myself, but I've only had a few hours.
  7. OK Ray, You said So you're saying that you do in fact have a tracking number then ? You've said you used an OS008 and it's the OS007 that has no track and trace number. So give Klaus the track and trace number, simple, no need to swap money around as it'll be easily found. If you just made a mistake in your post and you meant it to be the other way round and that infact you meant you sent it the other way that doesn't have a trace number then why the e-mail below to Klaus, which states you have a trace number ???? > -----Ursprungligt meddelande----- > Från: Admin [sMTP:[email protected]] > Skickat: den 11 mars 2003 15:46 > Till: 'Schöps Klas' > Ämne: RE: Nismo Gtr R32 320Kmh Cluster. > > Hi Klaus > > I was given a number by Courier Post for the package which I was told was trackable. The reply I got from them yesterday is that the package is "in transit" and should be in Sweden on Friday although delivery is probably Monday. Interesting to note the dates too......suddenly the games changed. Also interested for you to give an answer to the guy from the NZMMC forum that's said to have paid you over $ 100 and is still waiting for his Momo steering wheel...............hmmmm pattern forming here isn't there ! If finding the track and trace is all too hard then I'll take you at your word however and would be happy to hold the money for Klaus. You can contact me at [email protected] and I will e-mail you bank details for you to transfer the money, or will just meet you for the cash.
