  1. They came in both v-spec and non v-spec GTR LM Limited & GTR V-spec LM Limited
  2. As far as i know all standard R32 GTR's have a finned diff all V-spec and V-spec II have a flat diff cover so the opposite of the R33's. Best way to tell is the model code V-spec II have KBNR32BFS8 AA where a V-spec does not have the 8 on the end and normal GTR's do not have the S or the 8 on the end so yours sounds like a genuine v-spec. all v-spec and v-spec II 's came with brembos from the r33 GTR's the only difference that i can remember is the tyres 225 for the v-spec and 245 for the v-spec II
  3. yea he needs to be shot with a ball of his own sh!t

    Team Townsville

what times did the other GTR's do?
  6. That blue 34 has already been sold apparently to someone in the UK
  7. I have a r33 gtr speedo with 25000 klms you can have it for $250 plus postage
  8. It was bought new from veilside they retail for 90000 yen in japan and about $3300 here in oz.
  9. I payed $1150 for it delivered out of japan to sydney and about another $80 to get it up to townsville thats cheaper then most stainless systems
  10. I have a veilside teardrop titanium cat back exhaust for a R34 GTR weights 4.2 kg (standard GTR exhuast is 18kg) it is one of the lightest on the market it is around 3 1/2 inches has no resonator and is a one piece exhaust. Have heard one on a R33 GTR wasn't droney or overly loud they dont seem to be that well known amongst the skyline community but are the exhaust to have amongst alot of the supra boys in the US.
  11. I have one and the snorkel as well and i am in townsville too, if you want to come around and have a look at it you are welcome too, but it is missing the bracket that screws up to one of the airflow meters you can call me on 0401044533 (Troy)
  12. Powerplay quote them as $12,000 new from nissan . There are a few companies that do their own rear diffusers like Top secret, mines, ARC quite abit cheaper then the orginal nissan item
  13. Is your car a genuine v-spec ? you sometimes see them on the yahoo japanese auction site for sale. powerplay had one for something like $8000
  14. Did you end up finding a local 34 GTR ricknismo? any details on it as iam almost ready to start the import process for one myself.
  15. does it have the rear carbon diffuser its hard to see in that pic ? Yes only the v-spec II come with the carbon bonnet with the naca duct
  16. what happened to the orginal bucket seats?
  17. sounds like a layshaft bearing if it whines in 1st 2nd and 3rd but not 4th ,does it whine when in neutral and your foot off the clutch
  18. do they come with the HKS actuators that are shown in the pics for $3500
  19. If your going for a 19 inch rim best bet would be to go for a 19x91/2 with a offset of plus 11 for a 33 or 34 GTR and the correct tyre is a 275/30ZR19 this will give you the closet to the correct height this is what Rays Engineering recommand for a 33 or 34 GTR, for 18 inch most use 18x9 with a 265/35 tyre i wouldn't go under 245 as this is what 33 and 34 GTR's came with so if you wanted to keep costs down go for a 245/40ZR18 . Also the PCD is 114.3
  20. I have the R34 skyline GTR best album from japan and as far as i can tell they didn't change the sump or turbos they are the same as the normal v-spec and m-spec models i have photos of all the differences between the v-spec and v-spec II and it just shows the change to the black interior the carbon bonnet with NACA duct, larger N1 rear brakes the foot pedals are different more of a race style, clear indicators, plastic end tanks on the radiator for the v-spec II instead of metal, the MFD on the v-spec II has a oil pressure reading instead of throttle %, slightly different colour on the centre console, different seatbelts and buckles, different mirror controllers and the v-spec II did not get the sound deadening material on the underside of the bootlid and no cover over the rear windscreen wiper motor apparently was a cost saving thing and the v-spec II is 10 kg heavier.
  21. If your pulling 450 kw @ all 4 wheels thats around 600hp @ all 4 wheels so you would be pushing a bit more then 650 hp at the flywheel at a very rough guess you would be some where around the 750-800 hp mark unless you were on a very happy dyno
  22. power house amuse
  23. In just about all of the GT-R Magazines they list the first and last chassis number for each model and also build numbers for 32 33 and 34 and all it has for R33 GTR V-spec is that 6,551 were built and this includes N1 models so it doesn't actually have a seperate figure it does for r32 with 228 N1's and R34 with 45 N1's.

    "FUSSY" GTR

I think it was the deep marine blue colour may have been resprayed from the dark grey because it looked pretty clean

    "FUSSY" GTR

Is it the same car that was at drag combat a couple of years back? that R33 GTR was dark grey though with the same fussy plates .
