Series 1 from 16th jan 95 to 22nd jan 96 Series 2 from 22nd jan 96 to 3rd feb 97 Series 3 from 3rd feb 97 to dec 98 Series 2 only difference was sportier steering wheel dual srs airbags and the center console had slight changes Series 3 the body was strenghtened with rear floor stays reinforced brake pedal brakets and reinforced rear suspension members. Headlights were replaced with H.I.D. xenons and a larger front lip spoiler with the air intakes on the front bumber and a rear fog light, also as said interior got red stitching on seats and steering wheel also stronger syncros in the gearbox. might be more but thats the main things as for the 1996 with the intercooler vents people update their cars with the later model parts

Another GTR leaving us, soon there wont be any left ! Hamish with the white R33 GTR is getting rid of his to and i have just sold mine so that only leaves gary and aaron in the R32's and the doctor with his R33 . I think we need more GTR's up here to combat the WRX plague!

I think he means Midnight purple II it was a colour flip paint according to the aspect of light it would seem to change colour, came out in jan 99 as a limited run of only 300 and another batch called midnight purple III came out in 2000 not sure how many but a very similar colour. and its not the only one in australia jason from "RH9" fame had one

No R32 compliance plates available yet under the new RAWS system looking at another 3 to 5 months away! Only way to bring in a R32 GTR at the moment is under the 15 year rule (must be a 89 model).

Check out www.scale18.com pretty much lists every 1/18th scale model available no R33 in 1/18th though R32 GTR's will be available soon from autoart these are the only ones in R32 that arnt race cars in white and gun metal grey according to the biante website

As far as i know all standard R32 GTR's have a finned diff all V-spec and V-spec II have a flat diff cover so the opposite of the R33's. Best way to tell is the model code V-spec II have KBNR32BFS8 AA where a V-spec does not have the 8 on the end and normal GTR's do not have the S or the 8 on the end.

R32's wont be ready for another 6 months at best!

Yep Gavin is an excellent tuner i would book it in as soon as you can as he gets very busy . I would not go to any of the so called performance workshop up here they are hopeless! Also Gavin is in Labrador as you come into the gold coast not in brisbane i think Haro has all the correct details.

Also Rezz this is the model code on the jap compliance plate KBNR32BFS8 AA im told that the 8 means it is a V spec II is this correct thanks mate!

Hi Rezz i have just bought a V-spec II what sort of prices are they commanding in japan and are they that sort after, also you said they came with steel compressor and exhaust wheels in the turbos this would obviously be the same for the Vspec II correct ? and are they the same spec as N1's turbos?

The accident damage is only superficial nothing to bad just a panel which has been replaced, the interior looks in good condition except for the carpet but thats no real drama, the car is totally stock except for what looks like a oil filter relocation kit dont know if it also has an oil cooler looks like a line running to the front bumber so i dont think the engine would of been to stressed or over boosted, most R32 are up around the 120 to 150 k klms now anyway. Should the chassis code read KBNR32BFS8 AA the 8 denotes that it is a V-spec II is this correct?

Iam looking for any information on these cars one has become available at a very good price and my girlfriend is looking to buy is there anyway to be able to tell the difference to that of a standard R32 GTR apart from the 17" BBS wheels Brembo brakes and the non finned diff cover and have any been sold in australia recently.

Whats the bus stop worth to repair no doubt the council will want money for that ,when i worked in my local council as an electrician anyone who took out one of our traffic light poles was looking at $3/5000 costs for the pole, lanterns any cable damage and the labour for a couple of electricians to fix.
