Services are done by Hammonds Automotive he is a family friend and i trust him so i wont let anyone else in Townsville touch it after a drama with Bob Hawkins . All mods were done by Gavin Woods on the Gold Coast anything major happens it goes to him.

HKS 2540 turbos, HKS dump pipes, power fc,AVCR boost controller,Apexi coilovers, HKS cam gears, HKS fuel rail, sard 700cc injectors,boshe 044 fuel pump,HKS intercooler pipeing kit,Nismo twin plate clutch,Nismo fuel reg,all Nismo speedo and 3 center gauges, GReedy electronic exhuast temp and boost gauges and holder, C's quick shifter,HKS super drager exhaust, HKS front pipe , HKS super power flow air filter kit , 80mm afm's,Cusco 3ltr oil catch tank,115mm custom intercooler i think thats about it off the top of my head.Ran 320rwkw on only 1.3 bar and has run 11.44 @122.95 with the boost controller not really setup right so should be able to run a few tenths quicker hopefully.

Yes that would be mine on ross river road except it is dark grey pearl not black never owned an s15 used to own a black wrx and a black 300zx tt before that . Pretty sure there are 3 R33 GTR's in town midnight purple owned by some sort of doctor my grey one and another white one which is for sale the owner is sick of it breaking so he is getting rid of it.

Yep there is a few of us here Gary silver R32 GTR myself dark grey R33 GTR and i think Aaron Harliquin R32 GTR is on here as well . Might even be a few GTSt owners as well there is plenty of them getting around so no doubt there would be a few on here.

Any more news on these turbos what was the final dyno numbers like? whats the response like down low ?

They do fit i had the exact same problem with mine very tight fit but from memory i think i gave the holder a bit of a touch up with some emery tape.

Both cars would definately be the real deal as blitzen has said Shin Inoue is the best will not touch anything less then immaculate and is the man to get very rare GTR's and parts but you do pay for his services ,he used to be the chairman from japans GTR owners club and drives a very nice black R34 v-specII NUR with a heap of mines gear. What about a Nismo R34 Z-Tune GTR with 600ps from the factory would have to be a more exclusive ride then a 400R wouldn't it?

Does the kit come with its own wastegate actuators? and do these turbos bolt up to the standard HKS dump pipes or do they have there own dump pipes because the wastegate outlet looks different to all the other GT25 series turbos the wastegate does not look completely seperate from the turbine wheel

Gavin put my car together and tuned it 320 rwkw @ only 1.3 bar boost. So with the boost wound up to 1.6 or 1.7 bar on pump fuel hoping for around 350 to 370 rwkw and this was only a very conservative tune considering i cannot get 98 ron fuel in Townsville gavin tends to stick to a more safe tune than an all out dyno queen thats going to sh#t itself after a couple thousand k's.Some of the spec are. HKS GT2540 turbos with HKS actuators HKS dump pipes power fc AVCR HKS cam gear 115mm intercooler upgraded fuel system 044 fuel pump, 700cc injectors, fuel rail, adj fuel reg etc. standard cams and the motors stock. I asked him about any really "tuff" skylines that he had done getting around the gold coast one was owned by a dentist that had quite a bit of money spent on it i think it had around the 450 plus rwkw region if i remember correctly. Another bit of useless information that i asked him was how many R34 GTR's that he works on i think it was around 10 to 15 so quite a few probably most of the Qld R34 GTR population

8.4 WTF isn,t there only around 4 or 5 GTR's that have run 8.5 and under excluding the HKS R33 GTR and i think all of them were running big twin turbo setups, who built this car and where did it come from?

Whats full boost? i have HKS 2540's on my R33 GTR hits 1 bar at around 4800rpm 1.5 bar at around the 5600 to 5700 it all depends what your used to im told 2530's are usually around 800 to 1000 rpm less laggy. The 2540 are meant to run slightly more boost then the 2530 that said mine are normally on 1 bar which iam quite happy with on the street, i dont think there as bad as what every one makes out . Another thing i find is when driving on the street iam not always on boost where as with the 2530's it might be a problem as far as police or fuel consumption is concerned. But if you want it for a circuit car go the 2530's but for the odd drag event or dyno comp the 2540's. My car also has standard cams and manifold only have the HKS dump pipes so iam looking at getting cams and some work done to the heads and maybe a 2.8 ltr kit down the track which will help it come on boost alot quicker. At 1.3 bar the car was dynoed with 320 rwkw and has run an 11.4 qtr . -
Done in R33 GTR about a month ago on street tyres 1.5 bar boost HKS GT 2540 turbos on BP Premium fuel no 98 Ron fuel up here. 60ft time: 1.613 sec Elapsed Time: 11.449 sec Terminal Speed : 122.95 mph

Merli are you sure because that colour looks exactly like my GTR Dark Grey Pearl it gets a purple metalic look under sun light its a different colour to the gun metal grey of the R32's . Here is another of the same car.
