I have now dropped the price down to $1900 ono as looking at one of the turbos it seems to have a small amount more shaft play then the other turbo about 1mm movement compared to about .5mm movement in the other it does not hit the housing or anything like that but not really sure if this is significant or not so i have dropped it down in case a rebuild is required dont want to stuff anyone around just looking to offload these pretty quickly as i need them gone before i head overseas.

  5. the midnight purple z tune was featured in GTR mag number 75 back in 2007 i will see if i can get a hold of a scanner and put it up someone may be able to translate the article it has a pic of the z-tune build plate No 10 as iron chef has stated. Any pricing on the silver z-tune i think i would prefer that over the midnight purple one

The part number for the front diffuser is 75890-AA410 and nissan call it a COVER-ENGINE LO if that helps the one you have is not standard as the orginal extends further back under the car and as said is not fibre glass , i dont have a part number for the lower lip section i think thats what you are referring to as the nismo part the lower peice that is painted blue correct? iam not to sure it is nismo as it looks exactly the same as a standard one to me other than it looks like fibre glass to me as well , several companies in japan do cheap knock offs of the standard gear so i would say the previous owner replaced them for what ever reason with cheaper parts instead of paying big dollars for the genuine nissan parts. I would also check the front bar see if that is fibre glass or ABS plastic car may have had damage to the front end at some point
  7. any info about your 2530kai turbos are they supposed to produce more power at the same sort of response as normal 2530's, any photos? Sorry to be off topic but you must be one of the few people in australia to have these i didn't even know if they were in production yet no-one really seems to know much about them outside of japan
  8. How was the match for the MP colour ? I didnt think nissan would actually sell the paint i had a huge drama couple years ago trying to match the bayside blue TV2 on my 34 GTR when painting some mirrors and side skirts, car went back to the shop several times, in sunlight the match was perfect but when you got it in the shade or undercover the new paint was several shades darker

  10. i have the GT-C face 2 rim on my R34GTR but are 19x9.5 not 10.5 when i purchased them about 5 years ago volk told me the correct offset was +11 and the correct tyre for a 33/34 GTR was a 275/30 for a 19inch rim
  11. Anyone used the HKS 2530 KAI turbos for the GTR any difference between these and the older style HKS 2530 turbos apprantly the KAI version has more top end without loseing any response any real world experience would be helpful

Well mine finally passed its big test 7k rpm launch down the drag strip ran about half a dozen times this was the 1000ft/lbs model in a 34GTR this was in a 260awkw GTR not big power or anything but did handle it with no dramas no vibration all good . Could not really do a comparison as i changed a few things since the last drag outing changed the stock suspension to HKS hipermax coilovers and fitted a titanium exhaust after removing a dodgey custom stainless job. I ran a 12.3 @115mph with the carbon shaft and i ran a 12.2 @ 116.5 mph two years ago without it !!! but i think my tyres had worn out their use by date as i haven't used them in over two years could not get any traction best 60ft was a 1.95
  14. yes it was a optional extra it was for an oil cooler mounted in the left hand guard you got the little air guide peice that mounted on your standard front bar and a vent that went on the side you had to cut out a hole and of course you got a oil cooler
  15. Very nice !!! just curious why you didn't go with the Top Secret side skirts like everything else, i think they look a hell of a lot better then anything else on the market they seam to flow with the lines of the 34 where as the nismo or nismo style make the car to boxy looking .
  16. looks like it is not a v-spec II, the black interior is shared between the standard and v-spec II models from october 2000 onwards as are the N1 rear disc rotors so this is not really a way to tell the difference ,the MFD should have 7 parameters for a v-spec/v-specII/m-spec where as the standard model eg non v-spec will only have 5 parameters also check the tacho the 1 to 3 on the v-spec models will be compressed this is if it is the orginal speedo ,you can also check the code on the build plate look at the 6th letter it should start with GGJPRW the W means its a v-spec/v-spec II etc if it has a V instead of the W it is a non v-spec model
  17. I did not say it wasn't a v-spec II, but if i found a car with those three things i was looking at purchasing i would be looking into it further.
  18. are you sure its a v-spec II because it is missing its carbon bonnet and rear carbon diffuser also the rear v-spec II sticker looks suss its not sitting in the right spot its too far to the left on the rear bumber, did you run the vin number through the nissan fast software?
  19. are they genuine ganador because all ganador mirrors have factory plugs installed ready to go ,it should be just a case of plugging together

If you read my post i said it is EITHER a non V-spec car OR the klm's are not correct , so if the car is a genuine V-spec it is obvious the speedo cluster is not from that car and has been replaced for a speedo cluster from a non V-spec car so the klm's are wrong i was pointing this out to any potential buyers of this car because OS30GK and yourself were so adamant it was orginal milage
  21. That car is eithier not a v-spec or has had its speedo cluster replaced for a non v-spec one meaning the klms shown are not correct going by the photo from OS30GK 's photo
  22. not quite their was one made in midnight purple III number 10 it's in GT-R magazine No 75 in the owners report i would say the owner requested that colour

Just on the lines on the screen do they go away, come up in different spots are they vertical and change colour green red purple etc mine comes up with a line every now and then shut the car down and restart it sometimes they go or come back in a differenet spot, spoke to some of the guys on the uk gtr forum and several have the same problem i have never really bothered with it and i have had mine for over 3 years now i would say just get a quote and tell the dealer to take that off the price and learn to live with it.
