Fs: Racepace Built R33 Gtr (Silver)
Doobs replied to JAGR33's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
I've loved this car since I first saw it on the forum. Still the best looking 33 in all the land. Massive bump. -
Pretty sure that would be considered launch control, so not allowed.
-
Passive 3D halves the vertical resolution. Make the gameplay pretty shite.

Streamlining Speed Limits In Nsw...finally
Doobs replied to hamiltonau's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Darwinian theory in practice. Certainly free up some oxygen in Gympie. -
I've had mine for 2 years as a daily driver, it's been a good little car. Much more comfortable than the 33. The GPX models are the better model over the GR.

Nice work Steve. Might have to go down there to see this thing in the flesh. Are you enjoying the cold in Mittagong
-
We call them Billy Carts here.

I didn't notice her plates, didn't see any P plates either. That's Blake's beat up 33. Bit of a shitbox import club, lol.

Spotted a young lady in a white 34GTT on Brisbane Rd in Gympie on Sunday morning. Actually got a wave
-
Might be a stupid question. Is the escalation pack worth getting. Need to ease the boredom while waiting for MW3 and BF3.
-
Token wave accepted, thanks Jez.

Can't remember where exactly, I was heading back to Gympie from Noosa and they/you were headin the other way.

Aussie Consumers Say No To High Game Prices
Doobs replied to EeLeYe's topic in PC & Games Discussion
Thanks Marc, You make your point better than i can. I guess only people who work in retail, or have a small retail business, can understand. -
Aussie Consumers Say No To High Game Prices
Doobs replied to EeLeYe's topic in PC & Games Discussion
I'll start with. Marc's right. A lot of you don't seem to realise, Australian retailers aren't buying stock direct from the manufacturers in their respective countries of origin. They buy it through the local companies bearing the same names or through agencies/importers. I know first hand, there is no money in games hardware and software. I flat out refuse to stock the PS3 as my company's head office always have it advertised or bundled to sell at a loss. This mentality of the Australian consumer, that they somehow deserve everything below cost. They don't seem to understand that the salesperson that is trying to help them and the business that employs them, are there to make a PROFIT!! I just finished a 4 day sale where we had advertised 20% off storewide, that puts the majority of products below cost. Every customer i served, asked if they could have more off. Get Fu<ked. End rant -
Saw a black 33 s1 on my way to noosa yesterday, waved but got snobbed. Saw a white 33 s2 on the way home today, waved and got snobbed. Bloody Queenslanders.

It might not be bad news. Could organise to coincide with WTAC, or around the same time. Would give me a chance to come down and see it too.

I was working on a mates R33 the other day. Just had an engine replacement, and was fluttering. Found a block off gasket made from Asahi beer can, JDM as f*ck.
