  7. No idea, i only noticed it when i started the car one morning and drove too work. May have started a long time ago when it started ticking, it wasn't that loud and i just put it down to tappet noise.
  8. So this is the result boys. Turns out the manifold was in 2 pieces. Looks to have blown a small chunk out. The cracks have followed the cast lines.
  9. Thanks for the tip. I start on it 2moro. Parts arrived from justjap today, they sent me the wrong front pipe but no big deal, it's not essential.

  18. Never drive it that hard, just 10 mins to work and back. Always drive easy so it should never get red hot. Used to have a timer but didn't need it for the way i drive.
  19. Thought that could be a reason. My profec B II shit itself 6 months back, wouldn't control the boost at all. It may have hit 20psi once or twice before i pulled it out. Profec had been faultless for 2 years beforehand.
  20. That's what i'm asking. The car only has FMIC, catback and EBC running 10psi. It's the actual manifold at the turbo. Ever seen one that bad, Rich?
  21. Would a couple of broken studs be the cause or the effect?? Can't beleive the stock manifold could fail so easily.
  22. Sounds a bit like mine, pretty sure it's either ex mani gasket or broken stud. It appears to be common problem with RBs. I pull pulling the mani off in the next couple of weeks to confirm and repair.

    Jasma isn't a brand. It's the regulatory body for exhaust in japan. All japanese exhausts will have that marking.
