  1. Well got most of the painting done, will see if i can make it, but i still have not had my new coils come in, so car sux to drive, if they don't arrive not sure if i can make it in.

  4. Well teh turbo might might not be a bit of a dud. Well the thing is defiantly rebuilt, shaft play is as per spec ext, but the thing took 2 weeks to gete here and was wraped in a rag to keep it clean, the box got water damaged the turbo aluminium housing got wet, and now all looks like it's got icicles growing out of it. I am going to see if i can fix it, if not, i get my money back and a high flow. AND begor GMB tels me i told you so. I TOLD YOU SO.

  6. yeah possibly, but it sure is fun. If the turbo sux i won't put it on, and send it to slide to put a Rb25 high flow frotn on it. Should be fine though.

  8. Hay mate, if you remove the Boost kit, and sell it for $1200 ono i will take it off your hands, or we can do a swap and cash adjustment to you. I have a central 20 ecu and a SAFC II making 217 rwKw on stock turbo. ECU can be remaped and DR Drift can do these now. The SAFC II is 9 months old and the ecu was purchased 5 monthc ago. The Ecu is an R33 remape ecu not R32 as is commonly used. If you are interested let me know via PM. For swap the ECU and SAFC II would be $400 so that is $1100 cash adjustment. Or we can talk about just the ECU and so forth. Thanks

  13. these kits are great, i have a white kit and love it, although initialy i was after a black, but was unavailable at the time. The instalation is easy and the kit is spot on, VERY profesional, not a cheep imitation, proper plastic backed guage inserts. GO for it guys.
  14. dam you how come you get so many kays, i got less power and use twice as much fuel. LOL. mind you all my driving is town driving and preatty hard too.

  17. The turbo well it's that Rx7 Hybrid. Once i get it i'll measure the A/R and see what's what. Yeah the earthign is very bizzar, maybe that is what my problems are. Looks like a job for an auto sparky. Well with the injectors i was hoping to get some 440cc ones from my contact in the US about $390 Au for a set of 6 delivered and yeah slide for the Z32. BUT have to move house first.
  18. Ok so i did a full vac pressure test, could not find any hisses ect. Took out the AAC valve cleaned it all up, was a fair bit gunky. Will see how the car behaves tomorrow.

  20. Hay guys, i must admit that you all have good point. I don't like a pfc mainly because of the price youpay for the name, and so forth, yes it's plug and play, but has limited features. I have done a fair bit of work with a MegaSquirt system form the US on our targa car, and it's GREAT. Seal map tunning, cold starts exct, but not plug an dplay as such, would need to make up a harnes and some of the sensors would need to be changed. But overall it's great. In regards to my issues, idle warm at 650 rpm is 18 in Hg an dno more, i have read a whole heap of pages and so forth, doing all their test, it shows that everything is ok, ie no stickying valves ect. I am doing the full pressure test again tomorrow and see what i find. One thing i did was put the hand over teh intake and the car stalled straight away, and while under 30 in Hg of negative vac, there was no leaks that i could hear. I need to reste the timming and the idle to ensure all to spec and go from there. Thanks for all the advice, i'll keep you all posted.
  21. correct like i said bad wording. Either way mine made good HP, plus it retains all the kock protection and so forth that a PFC does not
  22. Your correct, it's a bad description. It would be easier to get Dr Drift to remap the chip for your application instead of going to the pigyback option.
