thanks guys, well go some more details. originaly the tubo was setup for an R31, but ran on a Rb20. The turbo was built, recoed by ATS in vic, so i'll be giving them a call soon. Thanks for all the advice guys, i'm going to send the pic to Aaron and see what he says, but the turbo is as new, in teh sence of a rebuild. The guys tells me, if it's true, that the turbo was ran for 3 months after rebuild, and then the engine died so he is goind to a different engine. Anyway will see what i do, might be worth a try. Wait to see what else i can dig up.

thanks guys, tunning is not a worry so much, just trying to get more details on the dam thing. Still cheep to buy and get slide to fix her up.

One other thing i noticed, is that the front turbo compressor looks totaly different to the stock HT18S-2S turbo form the Rx7, so humm who knows.

If the rear cover is same as an Rb20 turbo high flowed the rear should be ok? Correct? Still not saying i'll buy it, just want to know if the pictures help at all?

I will take some more photos tonight. here is the photos i had when it was rebuilt tho and 2 pictures of a standard rb20 turbo, so you can see the diference in the exaust wheel. the person who build it said 300 hp would be achevable, however i was never dynod or tuned so i can confurm anything. Thanks Paul BUT Firstly, any turbo of the shell is a rip off, no matter what you pay. CGC are a rip off the only turbo i would consider is a SLIDE high flow. I am simply trying to be different, everyone does the same thing, buys and off the shelf turbo and goes wow it worked. I'm am trying to do something different for a change. BUT the main reason i am asking, is that the perosn selling the turbo has no idea about it, so i need to ask stuff but no idea what to ask to get correct anwsers. AND perhaps by asking a question someone here has used a simillar setup and got good results. I am not saying i would buy it, i just have not heard anything about it. I am actually more interested in a SLIDE high flow, but i figured i would as here. SO thanks for the advice Paul, also turbo is a direct bolt on. I have all the elbows and bits for the intake.

so would it be any good, apparantly it has a skyline rear high flowed with an Rx7 front high flowed or something. Wjat questions do i ask the guy to get some idea, i mean what does one measure to work out what the turbo may do, it inlet size, outlet size, and so forh Anyone else. PLEASE. Would this be laggy or what?

Well now having this turbo,and finaly getting time to take it all apart, needs a seal kit through it, no big deal, one on the way. The Compressor is 59 trim and the A/R is about .65 or so hard to measure exactly I could not get the rear housing off, but i presume it's same specs as slides high flows. How does one remove this,i could move the housing on the core, but i tried to pull it off, and it almost felt like it was hitting the turine. Are these compressor specs any good? what sought of performance would it do on an RB25? Hi guys. I have an opertunity to buy this turbo, the specs as yet are unknow. I am only looking for a slight upgrade, and i belive this could meet the bill. all i have at the moment is: Rebuilt 360 degree thrust bearings 3 months ago. It has a t3 exhaust flange from a Nissan skyline with a compressor housing from a Rx7, it has larger exhaust wheel + high flow It look as good as new, What sought of things can i check, ie measure to give me an indication of the turbos performance? I simply need some way of determening what this may do and how well it might work on an Rb25det. thanks

Stock turbo, splitfiers and supporting mods, 15psi, yeah i know it will die eventually, central 20 ecu and a SAFCII, made 217 rwKw. i am hoping with a slide VG30 max overbore, with 50psi fuel pressure to and stock onjecotrs to get close to 250.

well i had to clutch it, only running 10 psi as my splitfires are sent back for a worranty replacment. So i have breakdown issues everywhere. LOL.

I cut the cigaret lighter out and have my boost guage in there and the ashtray houses the Gizzmo EBC in a cutom surround, i'll dig up a pic sometime. It looks so very good cops think it's suppose to be that way.

yeah that is what happens, don't forget once of the throttle the timming will be retarded on the off throttle load.
