  1. aLSO TALKE DTO nICK FORM gt GARAGE, HE IS INTERESTED IN HAVING A LOOK ON MONDAY. opps dam autocad caps. will update as we go. Also hoping to order a slide turbo over tax time and new injectors to suit allong with a Z32 AFM, hopefully by that time DR Drift can come down and do a remap for me, if not will have to stock with stock parts for a while. Current engine build on hold till i do some more costing details.
  2. yeah right, if i send it back to stock no one will buy it. LOL. It's in too good of a nick to sell cheap.
  3. why would a turbo seal couse this issue? the car makes boost and is fine, AFM reads boost, but car brakes down, looses power, splatter, missfires between 2500-3500 rpm and then is fine all the way till redline. enlighten me GMB please?
  4. hay benny, yeah that would be great, unfortunatly DJ NIssan are a bunch of no hopes here, i wouldn't eaven bother taking it there. Give us Rossies number and i'll give him a call.
  5. Ohh Yeah i'm in Hobart too.
  6. Ok so for those who visit reguraly, i have strugguled to find what is going on with my car over the past 5 months, allthough the cold start issue has been fixed, pure fluke, still no idea how, the car carries on like a dog at low rpm on boost, basically loost most of my power, then comes good and carries on fine, if i have low boost the car is fine. Trust me i have changed just about everything over, still no go. So i need somone to have a look at it, someone who has a clue about imports and won't charge me $100000 an hour. Can you guys give me some details as to who to call and who to see. HELP ME PLEASE booohoooooooooooo
  7. WELLLLLLL it's not the fuel reg at all, tried one of a running car, BUGGGAA, back to the drawing board. I wander if it is possible for my cam belt to slip a toth, i swear that last night i herd it backfire through the intake, is that possible and if so what would couse this. The car is bad, it's basicaly stops between 2500-3500 rpm on boost. Going to do more logs this afternoon on the way home. Any more ideas guys.
  8. Thanks Benny, funny yeah right, can't wait to lough at your car. LOL. It's bad, i basically have no power between 2500-3500 rpm, reg didn't fix it, if i had a leaking valve or something, coud this couse issues, what the hell do i look for and who is the best person to go and see.

  11. fucuck it's not that, dam it i have no idea, grrryyyyyy, i am so dam shitty with this car, off to a mechanic ot goes, still 90% sure it's mechanical.
  12. $250 or so. but yeah for the cost of the turbo and rebuild i can have a new slide item
  13. hi guys a turbo is up for sale but has a leaking seal, how much for a rebuild. Its an Rb25 highflow unit. Can you buy rebuild kist and do it yourself???? just an estimate?
  14. I love mine, never going back, there are so many things you cn do if you have the know how. You can actaully play a bit with timming in these if you now how. An adjustable fuel pressure reg helps to iron out some issues too. I originaly got a 40rwKw increasy from stock boost and setup to safcII and 10psi and now an maped computer and safc ii for trimmings as needed and i managed 217 rwKws at 14.9 psi on a stock turbo.
  15. hay GMB, depending on what you want to do with the computer, my mate has been using megasquirt on two different cars with outstanding results, you do need to make up a loom to suit, but it works a charm and it's $350 AU and does boost and map sensor ect. Full mapping software and stuff included. The computer can also do self learn by you setting teh AFR ratio in teh table and it will chase adjust fuel mixtures to get to these figures. If you have a wide band sensor, you can doo dyno mapping thesame way. If interested i'll pm with details Also i have just orderd ones of these http://cgi.ebay.com/racing-Adjustable-Cam-...VQQcmdZViewItem have not recived mine yet but seen a mates one, and it's great also http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-Tomei-C...sspagenameZWD1V
  16. yeah i remember that when i first tuned the car with kutsie, we had the malpasi reg on, and the car would exhibit the same issues as it is at the moment with the splatering, we put the stock reg on inline with the Malpasi to act in series, and the problem went away. And seing as the logs show that the 02 drops out to a lean condition, this may be it. The funny thing is the fuel pressure seams to hold ok, but obviously something is not right. Failing this, it' soff to the mechanics for a full diagnosis, but i think this might fix it. I have fixed my cold start issue now though, car starts great everytime. LOL.
  17. thanks mate, i got one off a running S2 form JDS, lol, i have raped an pilaged the whole car.
  18. well if it needs seals i'll give you $200. LOL.
  19. Bart? Hum ok wil do, is that his name on SAU?
  20. I would like a BLUE one please, will match all my other connectors then.
  21. Hi guys, i think i might have a clue as to my issues, can somone sell me or lend me for a day a working R33 S2 fuel pressure regulator please. TA
  22. i need to give them my vin and so forht, they are muppets here.
  23. Hay guys, i think it might be my stock fuel pressure reg. Ages ago, when i got the aftermarket malpasi one, for some reason i could not run just the malpasi one, it would exibit thesame issues as it does at the moment, surging ect. The solution was to install the stock one in series with the malpasi one and the symptoms disapeared. SOOO it looks like i might need to get a new one to test. HOWEVER the car starts great now, no idea what happend. LOL.
