Ok well last night i go tin late, but i did manage to pressurise the FMIC and piping, minus the plenum, and all good, pressure at 50psi stable and holding, managed to blow up the end caps i was using though. LOL. Put in new o2 sensor, still thesame. I have started with the wiring, but dam there is a lot of it. Hoping to do a lot more tonight with the wiring issues. Follow the wiring diagram and go from there. If you have any more ideas keep em comming. Thanks guys, i know i seam a pain in the ass askling all the time, but here in tas there are no people who have a clue, yeah a mechanic will look over it, but have no idea what to look for on an imported car. it is pulling 217 rwKw plus so it might be possible. But i have put in 3 different AFM and they both show same values. -

HAAAY MATE your my herrooo. Ok so how do i check the wiring, i suppose just go through the whole loome? How did you pick up the wiring earthign issue? so i can have some idea what to look for if i fix it? I know the AFM is maxing out, but need to put up withit, will the maxing out couse a surge? The timming has never been an issue before this started to happen. It worked fine for 6 months, and teh ecu is read only so i can't reprogram it. Maybe beace the SAFC II i took out -10 on the fuel map, it is puting in too much timming. Humm will need to put that back. OK so how do i actually fix the AFM thing, apart form an Z32 airflow meter. Any reasdon why the O2 sensor drops out like it does? -

Hay mate, had to different AFm on it, and i have a NEAR new ACC valve, and it's not that. Had a different computer sotck and mapped, and same issue. Maybe i will try a new O2 sensor and remove the cat sensor. -

Hi guys. Well my car has had issues as per this post. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=169954 So basically last night i put on a whole new ECU and issue was still there no change. so i guess it's not mapping or anything. The cold start as you can see sux, and i noticed a spike on the AFM, no idea what that means. In the Surging log, you will see that the O2 sensor drops to zero half way though the boost building ie: airflow. and then comes back, fairly apparent in the first 10 runs. I have no idea what couses this, but on another ecu it did exactly thesame. WHat could be causing this. Can somone with some knolage have a look for me. PLEASE. Wogs_Log_Files.zip

humm i don't think it's 20 degreess, i'll lokk through the manual i have but i was under the impression its sweet FA, hence when you turn it off it makes bugga all differance. -

well got a new ecu and no go still the same issue. I did a full log this morning and am about to go over it and have a look. I was thinking Knock sensors to, but accoriding to my SAFC II no matter which one i connect to, thy both show simmilar values. I have a set to put on, so that is next on the line. This may fixnumber two, but still starts like a dog in the morning. As for fault codes, sweet FA. -
should be free after 7:30 but i am about to swap all my injecotrs over for new ones, if i finish i'll give ya a call.

It's not ECU related, i have tried a PFC, had same issue, it's something either electronic in the car, or mechanical in teh engine. BUT what i don't know. Putting a PFC made NOOOOO differance at all. -

I have the .bin file for it i will PM you with it. It definatly has not got boost cut on the ECU. Like i said teh ECU ran fine for about 6 months, no issues it was briliant, and somethign has gone wrong since then to make it liek it is. I will do another log of the car tomorrow morning and post it up for you all to see. I have had a new CAS and AFm on, no differance, new TP and ACC valve, no change, have 6 new injectors to chuck in it and do a full blown leak test on the piping. -

I got new spitfires in, and have tried my old ones, exactly the same, plus i would have figured coils come into play more at high rpm. Yeah going to get another ecu to try soon. ALSO. Got a new working ACC valve, no go. New Tp sensor, no go. Have a set of 6 new injectors to try, but need more time. Also getting a 3rd AFM to try and some knock sensors. -

well i know less then all of ya. LOL. only seen my turbo once when i took it off, and never payed enough attention to know different. and the whole T3 T2 thing got me stumped. Thanks guys

thanks guys, i'll await the specs, but for $200 if it is ok, it's a steal, eaven to sell it again. LOL. Yeah thanks all, i simply have no idea what it is. I rang the guy an i should know within a couple of days exact specs.

the front cover look like it says AR.44

definatly a T3 turbo to manifold flange, and different for the back but yet to confirm details. Either way it has never ben on a car since being recoed or rebuilt or what ever. I have been told it will fit the R33 but have to wait to confirm details.

hows $200 fully recoed sound never run? My turbo is ok but i was wondering what this might do. The guy has no idea on specs and is cheking it out, so i will post once i get it. But i think the Rb20 trubo has same size banjos as the Rb25??? no???

that is what i was figuring. Could one use this on an R33 for gains? It is fully recoed and so forht. I am mainly after it because i think the wheel is steel.

what turbo is this an R32 or R33. Standard or highflow?
