  4. OK so i can't be bothered reading the post, drunk an all, but i had a problem with my stock turbo, in that it would bost creep, no matter what, so i took it off, and bored the gate out and the surrounding inlet, no more issues now. LOVE IT.
  5. uhhh you can't tune without it. YOu need it to tell the SAFC II which map point to read from. It is an RPM Vs Correction table. You have to have it.
  6. yeah, don't forget the standard ecu drops to low octane map, as soon as it detects knock, and there is only so much timming you can back off with the CAS. So yeah better fuel, hight octane map, and yeeehhhaaaa
  7. on Unleaded = 167 rwKw @10 psi On Premium = 187 rwKw @10 psi on stock ecu On 98 = 196 rwKw @ 10 psi on stock ecu NOW Central 20 ecu + SAFC II + 98 octane = 207 rwKw @ 12.7 psi and 217 rwKw @ 14.9 psi. BUT the biggest thing with the central 20 ecu is that i managed to pick up 70 rwKw through the midrange.   13. Yeah i already had an SAFC II and the new ecu cost me nothing, so all up it cost me $400 plus tuning, not bad for quick power.

  15. mine was suppose to run fine on 98, butin reality it still neded some timming out of it.
  16. The S1 and S2 ecus stock are different, having slightly different maps. OTHER then that they work, I have a central 20 ecu, which has been maped for 12 psi, FMIC, ect ect, and it made 207 rwKw at 12 pis and 217 at 14 psi, but it doe shave R&R tht high. It just plug and play, but make sure you get it dyno tuned, as it will most likely be setup for high octane fuel, so you will need to back your cas off about 4 degrees.

We need to obtain some sponsorship, as doind everything of our own back is juts too much.     Ricky moved his leg out of the way, he figured it would be rough, even though, it still niped the side, badly bruised and black, about 4 sizezs bigger. LOL. The car is stuffed, not worth repearing, so a new car is already started, teh new shell will be stripped out this weekend, ready for some seam welding and then upwards from there. TARGA bit hard this year, bugga.

    here is a pic of the hunter we had going this year. Hunter + a 4 left (should have been a 2 left) + bank = tire inside of car.
  22. Yeah car not reallly worth fixing according to body works, too much work for crap results, so it looks like whole new car for this years events. We have another shell, so looks like a new cage, SEAM WEALDING all the pannels together, and start from scratch. Oh well, on the upside, we got a new motor almost working, most of the new electronics will be soughted out within the next few months. The new car will be about 100kg lighter thanks to aluminium pannels, working electrics, IE: HEATER and demist, and hopefully stiffer. The new motor should be good for 300+Hp and 10000rpm readline. Just puts a damper on this years local scene. How did you place PHaT MR30?

If they turn out to be in good condition, usable and not leaking, consider them sold, I give you $50 for all four and arrange postage to tasmania.
