  1. From memory a S2 ecu will drive a S1 loom but not the other way around? Actually not too sure about that one. BUT you will need the AFM and all sensors to suit S2 loom if you are using a S1 engine.
  2. i started with 147 rwKw, felt fast, then nex set of mods, 187 rwKw, it was wow for a while, now 217 rwKw and Dam it feels fast, but use to it in a month or so, need more. LOL.

  7. yeah 12psi or so, i have 4 settings on my boost controller, 7,9, 12 and 14.9 psi. YEEEEPPP 14.9 psi. BUT i only use this when i want to absolutly cane it for a short burst, plus i ensure i monitor teh bosst with my foot. I don't expect the turbo to last tooo long, but i am only using 14.9 psi for 10 second burts or so.
  8. It's mainly the photo and my LEDS, with standard lights, they are thesame, i have LEDS behind mine, off eBay, and they are not as bright as i figured at first. BUT my camera is sooooo old, hence the crap photos.

  11. so direct feed to wastagate, so the gate is doing all the work. Is there any chance that the gate line has a split in it, or that some how the gate is not opening propely. I don't know. LOL.

  13. what boost controller are you using? My gizzmo will do that if the gain is toooo hight
  14. S2 does not use an ignitor, hence the plug is different for the coils. The TP is also different, allong with some pickup sensors i think. But if you have S2 loom and use S2 coils and so froth it will work.
  15. WELCOME to starship enterprise. AS an aside, how do you find the HYBRID boost controller? Does it work well at all? Those LEDs look good, i might have to change mine, mine have a few dead spots, but still look good.

  18. i have a WALBROW GSS342 mine pushing 217 rwKs on a standard setup engine. Works well no issues there. Theer are cheep walbrows and bosh pumps. Just make sure that you get the pumps form propper dealers and you should have no issues. I have used walbrow before on several cars, and no probs, but i have had 2 bosh pumps die before, not 040 though.
  19. HAYY ME AGAIN. Another thing I noticed today, well it has always done this ASAK, there is a TSSIICKK TSSIICKK sound coming from the back of the engine when it is turned off, when HOT. It does this for propably 1 minute or so. It is somewhere at the back, but no idea where. If you take the cap off while this is happening, the water moves up and down to the sound, and eventually comes over the top, then stops. No bubles in the watter comming through, just water, there was no more froth this afternoon. I presume this is bad???? ALSO, the water in the reservour tank, when hot mine is over the full line, and cold it is below it, it is normall for the fluid to expand into the overflow bottle? HELP Correct?
  20. YOU COULD HAVE A LEAK SOMWHERE IN THE PIPING? opps sorry, autocad autocaps. LOL. I just replace my manifold gaskets and studs, the car is much better. What managment are you running. Is it possible that the AFm is runningout of scope? HERE IS MY QUESTION TO YOU BUFFSSS. Did my manifold sytds and so forth ALSO found with the new coolant, the car is running cooler, and there is more white froth on top of the water, but it's froth, like soap suds, and it disapears quickly. It only appeares when the car is very hot. If i take the radiator cap off, you can see the froth arround the cap, but if you turn the engine off it disapeares quickly. DOES radiator coolant froth a bit. My dad ensures me it's not a head gasket. I have had no coolant loos or anything. LOL. Paranoid again. Forgot to add, the car hasn't used any watter or anything, the exhaust doesn't smell sweet or anything. The car doesn't buble when hot or cold or anything like that. This only happens when the car is hot, above 80 degC. if you open the radiator cap, you can see fine bubles going past in the water, but the bubles are not air, as the radiator overflow, does not buble and the system does not get pressurised with air or anything. Is it possible that there is some air still somwhere in the system? I KNOW i know, stop asking so many questions. HELP PLEASE SOMONE ANWSER ME.

  22. Got the new exhaust gaskets in and new studs, DAM that job suz and then some. LOL. i got cuts all over my knuckles. No more leaks, nice sound. Also ported theturbo wastgate, much better boost controll. The car still a dog for cold starts. Not a head gasket, as the coolant we drained was clean azzzzzz. Hunt continues. TOFF you can have the manifold, it's preaty straight. Only thing was 3 of teh cover bolts snapped.
  23. Ok so an update. Replaced all the exhaust manifold studs and new gaskets, all on the turbo side, cat seals and so forth, exhaust is leak proof. The car still does it DAM IT. This morning it sounded like it was going to stall. I think it is fuel related. I recon a leaking fuel injector, going to have to pull them out and get checked. MORE MONEY. I don't think it is a head gasket, as the collant we took out was clean as, and the new one is fine. There was no oil in the water. The hunt continues.
