well i would have figure that splifires could run more the 0.8 on 15psi of stock turbo. I mean my stock coils did that too, unitll they died.

I don't know how nissan buildt my engine, but compression on mine was 150, 152, 149, 150, 150, 152, with less the 3% leakdown on all Cylinders, didn't belive it, had it done at a different shop, and got even better results. YEEHHAA

cam cover gaskets seam fine, no leaking or eaven weaping. Splitfires are near new so should be ok. I will pull the plugs out and have a look. Keep the ideas coming

The misfire is random, like when you ate coming out of a corner at low TP% and open her up, it goes POP out teh exhaust and away she goes. Usually about the 4000 rpm mark. I have already replaced everything but computer, including injector and coil loom, AFM, TP, temp sensors, cas ect.

Ok so some time ago i got a new set of splitfires, which about 6 months later started to die, sent back got a full replacement. The new ones have been on for 2 months, and every now and then, i get a strange misfire, on like one cylinder, a pop for a split second and then all fine. The car is as per sig, running 16 psi boost and BKR6EYA plugs gapped at .8 mm. I have a cam gear installed and new timming belt etc. I was wondering if there is anything i should be checking in the car, like earthing to coils or something, surley there must be something i can do. The missfire usually occurs in the morning, and is gone by the afternoon, and uauslly mid rpm not top rpm.

did a major service, all belts bearing, fluids ect, $400 leter. Also installed and adjustable cam gear, retuned teh car myself a bit, but still have some issues. Car goes like stink, hates the warm weather though. LOL. Oh well, also no longer a bike owner, sold my wreck.

Yeah I mean what is the point of having a security system if no one reports it. I know the cops have my number because they called me when the alarm fals trigered about 3 months ago.

Got to my car last night to move it as it was parked in a 4:30-6pm clear way, door was adjar, alarm going off. No damage to locks or door, didn't take anything, but battery was flat as the door was left ajar and the alarm did not re arm, had to call RACT for a jump start. WHAT A CROCK of shit, car was goign off all day and not a single person reported it. F U C K this shit.

One question, why did they opt for rear mouted trans axle gearbox with front drive shaft, i would have figured they would want to reduce the amount of rotating mass.
