  1. NNNNOOOOOO get an R33. LOL. they are much fatser in stock form and only slightly heavier. plus it is a more modern car, and the rb25 has far more power potential.
  2. humm well that depends on gap of plugs and boost, but yess they do still break down if the boost is hight and so is the gap
  3. Well from experiance now, the JDS crew is all new, new manager, new service team, all sema preatty good, i have had my car in to get some checks and stuff and din't charg me a thing, VERY helpfull. The new service team is tops, have all the nissan datascan software and so forth. I got my car through Aussie Car Campliance, with Joel. Check them out, excelent service, and the car is great. My car cost me $14500, then another $400 to ship form sydney to tasmania. I din't fly over, just freight. Once in tassie, transfer, regio and insurance, $1500. So that is $16400 befor i started anything. The car had a full service before i picked it up and with low kilometers i don't have to warry about timmyng belt as yet. The car came with all log books, manuals ect, and i knew exactly what condition the car was in. Now the car was not perfect, it really need all the side skirts and bumpers resprayed, but that is also cos i am way to anal. I spent propably 6 months looking for the car i liked, and trust me there is a lot of shit out there and for 13K you will be lucky to find a good car, not impossible, but certainly hard. So far with wheels the car owes me close to 20K, so money gets swallowed up fast. With an import i would recomend getting aftermarket warranty. I didn't, had teh option too, but decided against it. The main reson to have it, is that imports being pedantic cars, tend to break all the little nigly things, O2 sensors, coils, etc etc, these are easy to replace, but all cost money, so warranty helps. Anyway do some searching and always test drive. her is what 14.5K got me. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...=132207&hl= so far close to 200rwKw, and i do all the work myself.
  4. hay budy, the cd was posted yesturday, you should have it today
  5. i made mine myself, will post pics soon, looks like factory. It's made out of an aluminum panel composite, called alucobond, 1mm aly 3 mm polyurathena a 1 mm aly again. Then all lined with 15mm thermoinsluation foam, and the air picked up from the fornt bar via old hole for cooler. Dropped the engine intake temps dramatically, will post some pics soon.
  6. well it still doe sit, especially if parked on a funny angle on a hill with the front nose up, but it stops within 5 seconds if that, and the oil pressur eis all good, did a test, bypassing the stock selenoid, and the oil pressure is exactly as it should be as per the manual. I'm doind a service soon, goign to get some engine flush and tappet free treatment, and see if that improves it a bit.
  7. don't forget to look for that rear housing toffy, LOL. C u out there
  8. To make the LEDs have more light disapation, get some light sand papaer 600 grit or so, and matt athe surface of the LED, this disperses the light and works a charm. You can also cut the top of the led, so it is not directional at all. BUT the matting things works, i use it in a lot of my projects. I have nto done any dash lights yet, but will do soon.
  9. what year are the coils for series 1 or series 2?
  10. I may have her number PM for details edited just incase Erica didn't want her number on a public forum GMB
  11. So can somone confirm that this is teh correct housing?
  12. hay budy i have all the ones for apexi, where about are yu and ai'll send you a disk? I have all the manuals past and present. BUT you can go to http://www.apexi-usa.com/support_main.asp and get them from there, but these are not as recent. I have an SAFC II and mine is rev 5 manual, the website only goes to rev2
  13. woohoo, and i got a new clutch, pity all i need is wheels and some skill, but i'll definatly come and have a looksee
  14. anybody?>
  15. AND what the hell are you doing now. The dam thing has only been put back together and running, now you want to sell it all. Dam it, too much money. LOL.
  16. Hi . Can i borrow, or buy of somone, and R32 10PSI wastgate actuator. I was told this might help settel the boost creep by Aaron form slide performance. I have a housing to machine the gate and help improve that, but maybe i can cure some of it this way.
  17. I have a Gizzmo IBC, its a great little unit, has self learn mode, close loom controll, 4 settings, and dam does it try to get set boost fast. I can have 12 psi at 3000 rpm in fifth. The only down fall, is that my car has shocking boost creep, and it means that the EBC can only do so much. I am getting an adjustable actuator to try and cure it, failing that, got a new housing wiht a larger wastgate hole. BUt for the price, they rock.
  18. i did mine last week with the clutch, took 3.8 liters till it started to come out the hole.
  19. is there anyway they can be repaired, seing as they are plastic?
  20. thanks guys, exactly what i was after.
  21. ANYONE. BUMP.
  22. HI ALL need some pics of an R33 damper. My brother got me one for Xmass, it was cheep, but it was to fit a GTR so i don't think it will fit and R33 GTST. I need to know if i can still use it or what?
  23. wtf, what happend?
  24. definatly lifters, but only sometimes on an incline, when the pump has an air pocket before the oil gets picked up.
