Well ok so here are a few contributing factor. O2 sensor is a bad one, i changed mine got an extra 50-80 kilometers in town, more on the higway ECU temp sensor, if that is dead, then you will be running enritched maps. See if it is within spec, there is a post on this already. A small spark plug gap is another one, i have to run 0.6mm now and it sux on fuel, new coils with a decent gap will increasy fuel economy drasticly. Vacume leaks, when your car is idleing hot, the vac should be about 17mmHg, see if you have Vacume leaks. Exhaust leaks will also suck through juce, so check for those. Apart form that, the stock ecu is dam ritch, and if you get a tuned ecu or SAFC II to take some of the fuel out, you will get more power, better fuel ecconomy and less backfire.

yep just the rear housing wiht the stock wastgate arm and falp, basiccaly just the rear housing. I need to port the wastgate to get rid of boost creep as nothing else has worked.

I got a gizzmo, and it is easy to turne and setup, easy to plug in, but if you have boost creep issues it's not the best. I have a stork R33 turbo, but all the modds pulling 200rwKw and the stock wastgat is to small to flow enough gass through it, and hence creep. This means that the Gizzmo can't accomodat for so much creep, and you don't get full boost controll. But it's an easy fix, once i port the wastegate. I think is a great unit.

Hi all. I need a rear housing so i can machine the wastgate so that i can get rid of boost creep and have lower boost settings. If anyone has one, please PM me with detail. I JUST need the rear housing, unless somone has a whole turbo needing a rebuilt that has a good rear housing. THANKS

I have a problem with my Gizzmo, i have some issues as the new exhaust is so free and the stock wastgate is so restrictive i get creep. There are many solutions, porting the gate, lower gain but higher response settings, you will have to just work on it. i have spent two weeks on my Gizzmo, and it's getting better all the time.

get a gizzmo EBC, i get 12psi at 3000rpm, works a treat. still got some lag, but works dam faster then a bleed valve.

I just installed mine last week, it's easy, just need a positive and aneg, adn the rest is plug and play. I tuned mine muself. i started at 10% duty, but at %50 i am only getting 10.6 psi. So first set the duty of the selenoid, start low and work up to it. Then adjust the gain. This is how hard the boost comes on, too much and you get boost overshoot, too low and sloow boost. yeah propably, i could have broght all second hand stuff, but i wanted to do it right the first time. Lesson learned i guess.

Not sure what you mean there. But i am male and impulsive, so thinking isn't always my strong point. Hay Toffy, do you have that R34 rear housing, if so and it does fit an R33 turbo compresor, can i borrow it, or buy it. I will then port the wastgate and have it ready to bolt up to the turbo. I will then port up the R33 rear and give it back to you as exchange or something. If you don't want to sell it, can i simply borrow it to work out how big i can port the gate ect. Thanks

well i got all the new gear, coils leads ect, and it cost me $300, still needed 3 plugs at $30 each and brackets etc etc. So by the end of it, it would have costed nearly $450. And no promise that it would work. So i canned that idea, got my money back by taking everything back, just need to sell the igniter and all good, get splitfires early jan, after Xmass.
