it's actually something to do with the angle of the wastgate actuator to the push rod that opens it. My mate, broght a CGC turbo, same problem, it was ok on the bench, but as soon as it was bolted to the car, and the wastage rotaed round to fit the engine bay, it simply made boost and it could not be limited back.

my mate has same problems, exacty thesame. Give a ydawak PM. he is usually on every couple of days. But so far the turbo has been off 3 times to fix it, turns out the way the turbo was put back together, ment the westage was not openning fully or something. He has yet to get the car back after having everything put back together, so wait and see

Thats the VCT selenoid, the variable cam inlet selenoid, it activates your cam change. There was a post recently about it, give it a search for SELENOID, i think.

Hay Toffy, yeah it's for a series 2, i am thinking of putting it in my car, buti haven't got it yet, still wondering if it's worth the money. Do you know much about thse. If i get it and i don't like it you can have it for $350

that would make sence why most skylines have a big power lunge after 5500rpm. Nice, well anyway, mine might be stuffed, cos it certainly works in reverse, off, more torque down low, on lower torque more pull up top. Weird. Thanks mate that is some great info. Which manual is that from, and where can i get a copy?

well for some reason, mine pulled way better down low, not sure why, eaven proven on the dyno, can't remember the exact figures though. So is it turned on below 5000rpm or the other way arround?

My ECU adjustment screw does nothign aswell, not a thing. I have cleaned my ACC valve ect, but on the R33 if i disconnect the Tp it does not idle below 900rpm, eaven with the ACC screw all the way in. No go for me. I think my Cold start valve is stuffed or not closing. I have tested for air leaks, but no good there either.

i disconnected mine for a while, a different car, it actually went better down low, but no go up top.

I have a seires 1.5 with a Type-M bar, like so, and it fiteed FERY nicely, i needed to trip some plastic off the AC fan, but other then that, it went in like a dream. Works dam well too.

From memory you need to take it out from the front, so you may need to take the FMIC off. I can't be sure though.

i think rear spares has some stuff, if not i know Autobarn do a silicone hose multipack, with all different ID, in many colours, alla bout 1 meter lengths i think. About $30

i have one of the laser temp things at work. I already have the spaces made up, my mate had a set, but i need to find them, they are under the house somewhere. LOL. My house is a mess. Hay Toffy, hows about anwsering my PM, i'm still looking for a boost controller. Yeah i'll have to get off my ass and make up a heit sheild and a CAI -
mine never got that many ks to a tank, it's been tuned and everything checked and still sux, propably only get about 400kms to a tank

yeah at the moment my HKS pod is unsheilded as i have no time do make one up. The FMIC did help, but like i said, being a turbo, it sure is noticable. I also think a lot have to do with the stock ecu, it has sooo much controll over the parameters, that i am sure a PFC would help aswell. -
I have a BRAND spanca i took of my car for after complance, it's a CATCO highflow one, nice and new, but i don't want to sell it, but if you need it for a pit check or complyiance, i can lend it to you.
