  1. Purple Pig, hi Pressure EFI hose about $19 per meter, and about $15 trade price, They have teh standard stuff for about $13. the only differance i saw was there is a lot more weve in the HI pressure one. Very nice hose
  2. either way it looks dam nice, what sorght of power you running. I got a Hybrid kit i'm installing on the weekend, doesn't look anything like that, SIGH. NICE i like it, VERY quality work, the welds are spot on, got to love tigs.
  3. sorry i mean the DR30 but so many people refear to them as a HR30. yeah the DR30 would be sooo nice, seeen some smic examples but price is way high
  4. DAM thats a nice intercooler setup, who did the piping, looks dam nice. SIGH.
  5. LOL, well last time i checked i was only mildly under the influence. LOL. Nah fuel system all good, replaced ALL the hoses to new Hi Pressure EFI hoses, so no chance of a leak or anything.
  6. so lets hope the tune will fix it. Other then that, can you guys point a finger to anything obvious that can couse higher then normal fuel consumption
  7. i came and broght some fuel hose of you and got a new niple for the boost controller, in the R33 Wine Red, had a bit more work since then. It's a small place indeed.
  8. nice nice nice, i am after an Old School Hr30 two door RS Turbo, or the XT turbno four door. I love old school cars. You don't work at the purle pig do you? There is a guy there with an R31
  9. LOL, yeah i hope so...
  10. yeah well i did all the supporting mods first, and then i know i have a good base to start with, and go from there. What you got Young GT-R. The car is a daily driver i use it all the time, so i have to make sure its reliable and good on fuel, so far, it's reliable, fuel, still a question.
  11. will do, i can't wait. I'm installing the intercooler this weeknd so we see how it goes, can't wait. BWWWWWAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.
  12. Ok so i got the car booked in this morning to see Kutzie. so far the car has got all the supporting mods Walbro Gss432 pump adjustable fuel pressure regulator full 3" exhaust with dump pipe HKS pod and intake boost regulator SAFC II FMIC New 02 sensor New ECU temp sensor I am running 7psi at the moment, and when i got o tune the SAFC II i want to run 12psi and no more, less if i can get away with it. Andrew told me that 160rwKw is basically what is actually posible, i have no idea why, that is only a 40kw increase over stock. Now basicaly intake and exhaust is a good 10kW, pod 5kW, 5psi boost 40kW, remap, about 10kW so that should be a total gain of about 65kw. Now stock at the RW is about 120-130kW so that should be about 180-190rwKw in total So what the helll is he on about. Can people post up their output figures with the mods. I am not too sure if the tuner can be trusted but that is the only one poeple have recomended. What sourght of power figures should i be looking at, and what do i tell the tuner to do, ie fuel air rations and recomendations to my tune. HELP PLEASE, i want to get this right, as i am on a budget. Thanks.
  13. Well i haven't touched the setting on the SAFC II as yet, the car is booked in in two weeks for a tune to see how it goes. see my post here for some more info http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=134905 I figured the car would be good for atleast 400kms

  15. well when i picked my pump out, it just came out, it did not sit in any groves, just in the cradel, in the bottom of the tank. Has somone got a picture of where it should sit in the tank and i'll see if i can get it in there properly, it seams fine for now. Yeah i removed teh righ reg, the r33 has the damper after the reg not before it, so i have no idea what is going on. STILL LOST only managing to get 300 to 350 km on 50 liters, DAM IT.
  16. Hi All. Well ok, so about a month ago i got my r33 with 72 k on the clock. When the car i got the car, it already had a nice Jap muffler, i got the rest of the system made up, so now it's a full 3" exhaust including dump pipe and high flow catco cat. The car has a HKS intake with pod, exhaust, boost controller set to 7psi stock cooler, untill the new ones goes on, a walbro GSS342 pump and pressure reg set to stock psi. When i got the car, soon after it developed a miss in the high rpm range, pulled the plugs out and they looked like crap, so upon recomendations i got a new set of plugs BKR6EYA gapped at .8 mm. I also tryed 1.1 but got a miss and at 1.0 still missed, at .8 it runs fine. I taped up my coils to be on the safe side, and it all seams good. HOWEVER, i got an SAFC II, which is untuned for now, untill the intercooler goes in ect, and my economy sux. I use BP ultimate, as that is all we have in TAS, and i get a mear 300-350 out of 50 liters, town driving, not floging it much or anything. I know it's a bit ritch as the car backfires durning gearchanges ect. I replaced my O2 sensor with teh NGK item, along with the ECU temp sensor, i have no leaks, idle is fine, haven't cleaned my AAC valve yet, the computer is reset and still nothing more then 350 km. What is up, i know the skylines run ritch and once the SAFC II is tuned it will be better, but dam, how do people manage to get 400+km out of a tank is beyond me, can somone help me, and give me some pointers as to what to look out for. BTW, checked the timing and it's 15 deg as per manual, The only think i am thinkg of is that the plugs gapped at .8 might decrease economy????? NEED some advice on where to go next PLEASE.
  17. hay guys i'm back. Well i got the new pump on and direct wired it to ensure correct flow. I tried to connect my new fuel reg, but it seams that if i take the old reg out and connect this one streight up, then the car runs like crap at high rp at 38psi idle fuel pressure but if i crank the fuel pressure down it runs like crap at low rpm but good at high rpm. BUT if i leave the stock one in and the new reg connected in series, then it works fine. DID You guys remove your standard reg or connected it in series. The fuel pressure can still be controlled, as teh fuel pressure will be the grater of teh two regs, simple pressure equation, but it seams wrong to do so. Is it because theer is sooo much more flow over the stock pump ect???????? HELP.
  18. they are on the TO DO LIST, which is growing expodentionaly inproportionate to cash flow. I have so many things i want to do, i just need more money. LOL. First thing is get the cooler on and get a decent tune, i am stick of only doing 350 km on a tank, or 45-50 liters. BTW i have to take the mags back, the a nob at BJ, not the guy i normaly deal with, scratch the inside where the bolts go so bad, that i need 4 new mags, yeeehhhaa, now i have to wait AGAIN. I Direct wired the fuel pump, and dam it's loud, the timing has been checked but the light was doggie so not sure about that one. Going to clean the ACC valve for a peace of mind. ect ect. NOT ENOUGH TIME to do everything.
  19. trust people to start selling thiers after i broght mine. LOL nice ride, good luck with the sale
  20. will this require a wide band sensor? or can you use a stock one. Also what is the cost.
  21. Thats my point, i have a 3.5" ehayst and a HKS pod with bellmoth intake, and at 4000rpm, no idea what is what, everything makes noise. I have a timing light now and will check the timing this weekend. Will pinging be notice by performance, ie losst or a miss or something
  22. I had a simmilar issue with my fuel reg, one of the botls was on soooo tight, i made a mess of the head, got my dremel, put a nice slot in the top for a flat head screwdriver and no problems, give that a go, it works well.
  23. well the car is runnign stock boost and intercooler but new pod and exhaust, i am not saying my car does knock or ping, i simply WANT TO KNOW what they sound like and how to pick it ip if it does do it. SO SOMONE tell me please. I know what they are and what happens to the engine when it goes wrong, but HOW do it pick it up by ear. THANKS. BTW My safc II has a knock setting, it never goes higher then 15 or so.
  24. i just got a brand new SAFC II onf the net for $350, a hybrid intercooler form Crydon Racing for $399 and a Flying 3' dump pipe for $299 all brand new, check out the for sale section under traders. They were all delived to me within a couple of days. Works well too.
