  1. yep 14K in total, that is delivered to sydney, i then got it on the boat and it cost me $402 all up to get it to Hobart. Not bad at all. check out joels site http://www.aussiecarcompliance.com.au/ He is a great guy to deal with, no complaints. The prices that he quotes are with regio and warranty, depends if you want it, normally about 1000-1500 less without these
  2. yes i connected the vacume in and yes it's a rising reg, as in the vacume line as boost comes in provides extra pressure for the injectors. however not sure what the rate is 1:1 or 1:2 and so on. MYBE the rate is too high and flods the motos, like i said, it's fine to drive off boost, no problems AT all, drive round all day, aslong as there is no boost.
  3. Thanks mate, looking at getting some wheels onto it ASAP. i hate stockies. What wheels you have on?
  4. i know, but they cam up for special, i really wanted the balck ones of these, but only for export into the US. I can get a full set with tires in 17*8 for $1100 less trade. so really not bad at all. I might look into 18's but to expensive i think. HAS anyone got any pics of an R33 with these on?
  5. The car cost me 14k, but normally 15k, i simply did not want any regio and warranty, as the car was purchased through Jole at Aussie Car Compliance, WHO i might add is a TOP blocke, and if anyone is interested i would seriously advise him to go there. So i think that is a good deal.
  6. Hi these are ROH DRIFT R to fit my R33. Can somone do a chop for me
  7. pressure valve? which one, the tank bypas one. Well i think i might get a new pump anyway, but i don't understand why the stock reg at 38psi, runs fine, and not at 40 psi on the new reg. Strainge. ANy other ideas. Has anyone found a simmilar problem before?
  8. Hi All Well i have been arround for a while, but now i have a car to share with everyone. It's a series 1.5, yep, dec 95 build, all series 2 running gear, with S1 front. The car has done 72K and is imaculate. Broght it form a 65 year old japanese buisnessman. It's got some type M options, sunroof, interior ect. The engine and interior are like new, i have had most of the engine appart to fit new bits and i can't find anything wrong with it. edit( small leak in stearin pump hose, allready fixed) So far, the car has a full 3.5" exhaust with new dump and pipes, HKS bellmouth intake with HKS pod filter, Boost controller, RAZO turbo timmer and pedals and gearknob, a FPR (which i can't get to work properly). Over the next 3 weeks a FMIC is going in, once i have time to do it, an SAFC II and new fuel pump to go in aswell. Coilrs are near new, plugs regaped to 0.9, yeah i know 0.8 sucked and 1.1 to big, it goes better at .9 and uses less fuel. From there, basicaly crank up the boost and get a tune done, hoping for 180-200rwKw. See what breaks first. PS. Pics were from when i got the car, nothing fitted to it yet at that stage.
  9. ALSO does anyone know weather or not the fuel reg need to be mounted up and down or can it be mouted horizontaly.
  10. no problems mate, glad to be of service, i am trying to sus out my FPR problems now. LOL. car, it never ends
  11. well basically, i had about 4k worth of parts sitting on the floor of my garage for about 6 months, as i had no car then, just the parts. Now i have the car, i am slowly puting things in. I fitted the FPR as i am installing my SAFC II this week, and once the FMIC is on, i am going to run 12 psi. Seing as most skylines hit RR about then, i am going to trick the computer by leaning out the map on the SAFC II and then bumping the fuel pressure back up to make sure it still has correct flow. I cheacked for vac leacs, and all seams ok, the fuel pressure decreases with vacume ect. I am thinkg that maybe it's not a 1:1 FPR and hence once on boost it runs toooo ritch. Not sure. Maybe i go and get a nismo one and bolt that up instead. ONE MORE THING, does it matter if the reg is not horizontal but vertical, can that couse any problems. ie. the inlet is 90 down and the outlet is horizontal.
  12. hi, yeah i still have the stock pump, but the weird thing is the car runs fine with stock FPR no probs, no splutters, starts fine ect. I am not sure if the reg may be faulty, or what. The only other things is the way the new REG line connects to the fuel rail, it has a bolt on adaptor plate, with an O ring seal, but it seams ok. One question. Near the fuel filter on the return side, there is some funny check valve or something, what does that do? So can somone post some pics of their setup to compare my FPR setup. Thanks. PS. What psi do the stock pumps handel, and what flow?
  13. it does go up and down, but it moves more then 4psi, it propably dropps of to about 30psi, not sure. I will install it again once i have more infor. For now the setup is all inplace, i just reinstalled the stock system, and swithed the lines over.
  14. HI all Well i had time today so i went ahead and fitted my new FLYEN FPR and well that was the easy art, no big deal there. So i primed to lines, no leaks, BONUS. Started the car, good, everything runs ok. As the car ideled i turned the seting up to 40psi, and all still good, no leaks ext. So went for a drive annnnnnndddd NO BLODY GOOD MATE. The car simply runs out of puff. So went home, all lines still good, ok what is going on. SO i ran the car, got the motor to 6000 rpm and the fule pressure drops off. NOw this was under no load, so not sure what is going on. Is it not suppose to insrease with boost pressure. I know it had no load, but hay. So how do i fix this? What pressure should i be running? and has anyone got one of these installed? ARE they any good or did i get ripped off? Also, can somone post a pic of their installation, and maybe a DIY just to double check mine. THANKS HELPPPPPPPPP
  15. thanks guys. Well i replaced the old two gaskets with new ones, still does the same noise. So live with it i say. NOW i have a problem with my aftermarket FPR. but i will post seperatly.
  16. well i am not going to have low boost, she's going to be set on 12psi all the time. Just need to figure out if my turbo gasket is leaking or what. Makes a funny noise but i can't feel any leaks. check out my post in Forced Induction. thanks guys
  17. HI ALL Well i finally got arround to fitting my FLYEN dump pipe, the bellmouth one. I have new gasket on the turbo to dump no goo or anything, one of them proper gaskets form Nissan, but old ones on the cat. Now for two days it was fine, but now, when you start it, it almost sounds like there is an exhaust leak somwhere, but inside the pipe, does it when warm too. I have gone through all the bolts, all nice and tight, cheacked for leaks, can't feel anything, anywere. turbo, cat, manifold, all good. The car still pulls like it did, no loss of power or anything. You can't seam to hear it directy outside but more inside, like inside the pipe. I am thinking that now that the O2 sensor is more in the flow of the turbo, maybe that is making the sound. I am going to get new gaskets for the cat, and put them in, just to make sure. But has anyone else had a simmilar problem to this? ANYONE?
  18. can i simply repost in that section?
  19. thanks GMB, who is Kuz, elaborate. I don't mind heading north, as my pearent live in Lton so i can go up for a weekend, but it is easier here. I just don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it. I usually use 95 or 98 octane, but tune for 95 as it is a littel chepper. As to low boost what is that, this pupy will be cranked up till she pops, LOL, nah hopeing to run 12 psi
  20. nope no high temp sealer between the dump and the turbo, no need, i got a genuine copper gasket, and was told not to use any, nobody i know has, and it is definatly not leaking from there, tripple checked now. I got new gaskets for the cat, as they are the ones i have not changed, so i will replace these tommorrow night and see where from there. It is like a leaking noise, but it is inside the pipe. BUT i do not notice any performance loss at all. ANy other ideas?
  21. Hi all. Well i'm new to skyline ownership, but as GMB will tell you, i've been round for a while. I just got myself a series 1.5 (yes i know there was officialy no such thing) R33. IT is in great nick with only 72K on the clock. Some old 65 year old buissness man in jappan owned it, have all the papers and recipts and log books, car is absolutly great. So now i have a full exhaust on it, FPR, FMIC ( still not on), HKS Pod and bellmouth, boost controller ect. Now i am about to fit an SAFC II as it was cheep and well it will have to do for now. I want to get it tunned sometime in the next 4 weeks, as teh FMIC is not on yet. Once that is on i want to run 12psi on a stock turbo and then get a highflow down the track. So where do i get it done. I have asked Autoshaft, and got a price of $400, with Pro Automotive at $220. But who is best for Skylines and the most resonably priced? THANKS. Also what power to expect, at the moment, the car is great, it pulls dam hard at 7psi and current mods, and breaks out eaven between gear changes.
  22. no one is reading this post, humm ok fine

  24. buy a HKS FCD, they are about $150 from memory, but if you get an SAFC II i think that ofsets any gain form the FCD, not sure, can somone clarify? BTW, FCD = Fuel Cut Defender
