ANYONE -
Hi all, well i'm back form my 7 week treck arround europe and now that i am back i want to finaly get my car. I had a look at this one, i sydney, it's the wrong colour, but i can live with it i guess, it has bugga all kays on the clock and runs well and is great nick, with only the side skirts needing a respray because if a few small stone chips and scrathes. The car is from Aussie car complance and i can get it for 14.5K wich seams resonable. Here is the link it's the first 1.5 series in wine red on the page. http://www.aussiecarcompliance.com.au/cars4sale.htm Can somone offer some advice on whether they would purchase this car or what. Has anyone dealt with them before?????? ALSO if anyone has any cars for sale in the 15K range please let me know. I live in Tassie so i'm a bit limited to the amount of stuff i can get here.

if your exhaust is straight through, no restrictions and mandrel bend pipes, it makes FUCUK all difference. The dump pipe makes the most difference is a good exhaust system. The rest of the system, as long as it is free of sharp bends and good simple straight through design, there is nothing that can make is make any less power then a EXPENSIVE item. Trust me I am a Mechanical engineer, and all I do every day is design airflow systems. I even designed my own exhaust system for my FWD magna, yes I know stop laughing, but my design was 1/2 the price of a GOOD exhaust system, following the same path as the stock exhaust, it is 100% legal and only 83dBA and it flows more then the so called SPORTS system. With an exhaust you need to maximise airflow without causing the air to go turbulent too much. Turbulence = DRAG, and restrictions. Anyway, it was just a suggestion, I am merely talking bang for your bucks. You can get a bit more by choosing rightly.

check them out a bit more, i am looking at buing aswell but not sure if they are any good. You can give Denis Fawkner a call on 03 93594422 or 0403326337 he has a few nice series 1.5 going for 14.9k.

Humm lets see. 1) Power FC groop buy $960 2) Full exhaust form just jap, mild steel $699 3) High flow cat eBay $200 or free if you do it yourself 4) Turbotech boos controller the $22 one 5) FMIC from just jap $499 6) 3 sets of guages form JustJap $199 7) decent filter eBay of JustJap $100 all adds up to be less then 3k Although these are not the chepeest to, thay do the job and they do it very well. I am not into paying for brand names just for the name. for example and Exedy clutch is about 1500, same clutch made in same factory under ACT is $400, same clutch identical.

WogsRus replied to jetskyliner33's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
it looks like a dam sweet ride, i hope you sell it so it doesn't play on my mind. DAM IT. oh well fly out tomorrow. C ya -
there is actually no benefit changing a stock BOV into an ATMO one, that is a BOV that vents to atmosphere and goes PSHHIIII, the stok one plumbs back onto the intake and helps to spool your turbo. There are many ones on th merket but it is far better spending money on a deicent filter and exhaust and not a BOV. just my two cents worth

Would it be simpler to get new oil lines, i think they are not to expensive, that way you will definatly have enough oil flow. Also i live in tassie so it's always dam cold, i plan to actually dust some cool air to run over the turbo. Anyways 3 days left till i'm off to Europe, expect a call mid August when i get back, BHHAAHHHHHAAAAAAAAA, slap, slap. ALL good now. -
