For a good cheep alternative, i would go for a KKR-430 or 480, both good for well over 430hp. and they are only $800, recived a great review in thelates ZOOM magazine.

YES i have been reading, and being a mech engineer 90% of the stuff i have got lined up for wholesale prices, and installs are free. KKR-430 turbo is $820 deliverd full 3" ex with hiflo cat and dump pipe is $880 Intercoller is $480 deliverd Filter and CAi setup, $100 APEXI SAFCII for starters $320 from the US Boost controller $45 Boost guage plus Mix guage and pod $220 form the US FPR $100 wheels and brakes i already have. all the other bits i make myself

The thing is i have looked at so many cars, i am LOST. plus i can't seam just to do a search in the forum for just R33 skylines. As to what to look out for, i mean things that are commonly wrong with skylines or things to check for that have and haven't been done?

I live in Tas. As to modding it over time, WHIFE+CHILD+HOMELOAN=DO IT NOW, or never do it at all. like i said i have a total of no more the 17k, but prefer to only spend 15k. How many k's on the odo is too many to bother with. Also what are the things to look out for (i have asked and no responce)

I just went to jspec, but i can see any of the photos of the cars. also how do you know what you will get. I have heard many horror stories of things missing, and cars not in the stated condition?

POWER, you always need more power. Hell i am selling my bike to have a car, it needs to go. If i get a stoc one, for about 12-13k i have about 3-4k to do it up so hopefully it will go OK. about 200kW. Already have a KKR-430 turbo lined up, and some other bits and pices. Hi guys. Well I am going to be purchasing an R33 soon, not sure what yet, but I have about 15-17k to spend tops. That does have to include regio ect so assume a cost for that. I have done some searching and there seams to be about 2k differences in an auto to a manual R33. What I want to know is how much difference in power loss due to Trany is there in comparison between the two. I would prefer a manual, but if I can get a better car but an auto, is it worth it. I have seen one that I like in an auto that has everything I want in Auto for 16.8k or a stock one; series 2 for 12.9k with warranty form a dealer, both in as new condition. They both have under 60k on the clock. I have not been able to find a manual for that price with the same condition and mods. I need help, I have tried to use the search function to see what is for sale on the forum, but I stuff it up, the search comes up with EVREYTHING. Can someone do a search for me showing all the R33 available for sale up to my price range? ALSO what are the things to look for when buying an R33. the usual problem areas ect. PLS help a fellow wanabe skyliner. LOL. PS. Sorry if in wrong section newby at work

any other mods to the car. Exhaust ect. what sorght of boost are you running. Also do you still have the standard parts, here in tas you need to have a standard BOV fitted for RWC.

Hay if they are anythinglike running my bike, it's expensive. But in reality any car can be expensive. I have a 207kW at the wheel magna, thats righ a magna, 207kW. YESS you may lough but the dam thing is FAST and it's ATMO. Cost 5 grand to get that power and to make sure the gearbox doesn't die on my. Now that car can just purr along in town and still uses 12l/100 and on the higway 7-8l/100, but on the track having fun i t does about 26l/100 so it depends on the driving. If you do regular maintnace yourself and so forth you will asve money. Also i found it is far better to fix a littel problem straight away, then to let it get worse. As to the antisocial behaviour and spine crushing suspension, oh well, you gota live with that. Esentialy i don't hink it's any more expensive owning a skyline then it is having any other high performance car.

hay mate i'm still searching, but honestly i don't have a cent over 15k so that's all i got, and seing as i am now goingto europe till July, i don't think i will buy anything till i get back.
