  1. OK lads, a bit slow I know, but heres a few of the snaps I took on the day...
  2. Welcome back, and yep you are right... I was driving around the Gold Coast only a couple of weeks ago and we made exactly the same observation. It is so much more laid back up there!! BTW you don't happen to drive the blue M35 with gold wheels??
  3. Just out of curiosity who are you flying with and how much? I know you are from NSW but was it under 1000 bux return?
  4. Try a search of this forum... I started a thread ages ago to compile a list of tuning shops etc... it has directions to nismo omori factory etc... But the station you are looking for is Omorikaigan, then short walk. We are in tokyo from 11-18th sept also.
  5. What happened to the one we have already??
  6. We can appreciate what you are trying to achieve here Les, but unfortunately I don't think there will be a mass turnout this year from us.... As you can gather we have previously attended in large groups the Mount gambier show but have experienced a number of issues.. Firstly as shane said a previous organiser (or similar) made us unwelcome as our cars were not deemed to be street machines (ie not old fords and holdens), Also we have experienced poor treatment bordering on harrassment by the police because of our choice of vehicles. We are not hoons we are enthusiasts who would spend much money on the local economy... or NOT if we are targeted. Simple. We are currently working with police here in Adelaide to improve things and allow us to be enthusiasts instead of hoons as we are often labelled. Thirdly, we are going to be attending EHP because they have released their dates first, are the only indoor show in Adelaide for us, and are showing us the support of specific categories for our vehicles and a special show'n'shine on the sunday for our members who don't enter the full show. Perhaps you could look at addressing these for next year?... and yes we have plenty of members who would be interested in the driving style events.

  15. Yep all the advice above is spot on... Get payout figure on his loan, make out cheque to his finance company, then cash for any difference or seperate cheque. Do the signing of changeover forms at the bank when he deposits the cheque(s) and MAKE SURE YOU GET A PRINTOUT SHOWING ZERO BALANCE ON THE LOAN!!! Good luck.
  16. Gotta love this.... I thought Speed cameras were meant to save lives! Ha... the whole idea of the sign was meant to get people to slow down. Guess they really just want to collect the cash then??
