  1. LOL, no i don't invest in ATMs. Thanks for the reply. I have already graduated from a double degree in Commerce (Finance and Economics) and Business Information Systems (Hons) from Monash in December last year . Basically, i'm wondering how will the firms screen their candidates and what sort of results would be 'decent' enough to even send my application in and not waste their time and mine. I'm referring to the firms which i mentioned at the start . Also, what sort of wages are the norm for IBs at the start? One of my friends was saying he is getting a starting pay of $140,000 a year + bonuses up to 18 mths.
  2. Hi guys, just wondering if any of you are working as an investment banker in any of the investment firms (Barclays, UBS, Deutsche, Goldman, Macquarie, etc)? I'm keen to get into this field and it will be wonderful if anyone can lend me any advice. Thanks!

  12. The yellowish stain on the rear bar is probably due to the exhaust i believe. Happens to alot of white coloured sports cars with an exhaust. I used to have a white skyline as well, after just 1 trackday, the rear bar near the exhaust area becomes yellow.
  13. There's this shop that sells pies, pastries, baguettes and other sandwich rolls along Clarendon Street in South Melbourne. It is just after the Commonwealth bank. I see lots of office workers go there for their lunch. Decent priced as well.

  19. One of the best R32 GTR i've seen so far. Very clean overall. Doesn't look like a 20 year old car at all. You did well
  20. Well luckily i am not locked into a contract with Origin. Apparently, from what i heard, origin is the most expensive out of all but provides the best service. I live in an apartment, so i doubt i will need any service from them. I was looking through Vic Elec as well. Do you get the $100-$150 savings every month or at the end of the year only? I want to look at the charges per kWh. Some companies have Peak and Off Peak charges some don't. Origin charges me by the first 1020kWh at 17.7cents then subsequent kWh at 18.99cents before GST. A bit steep i reckon. Service charges is fixed at $57 per quarter. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment in the city and i recently just paid $418 from june to sept. Anyone care to share their charges?
  21. Hi people, i am thinking of switching my electricity provider (Origin Energy) as i believe they are charging way too much. I'm keen to know which electricity company are you with? At the moment, i am leaning towards Australian Power and Gas. Thoughts?
  22. Did u mean $14.95/pw each or for 2 memberships?
