    lol satanic, i was actually quite surprised when people said flutter is caused by the BOV. I myself use the HKS ssqv. I do get a soft flutter sometimes if i release my throttle at low revs but once i rev it higher than about 2300rpm? I get the loud noise from my ssqv. Those who wants real flutter, try taking out your BOV or plumb it back. It'll sound like a VL Commo in no time!

    If i'm not wrong, the flutter is commonly caused when the air goes back into your turbo fins. Without a BOV installed, u'll get the flutter all the time. With a BOV, you will get both the flutter ( at lower RPMs ) and most of the time u'll hear the BOV sound that's IF it's an atmospheric BOV. If it's plumback BOV, u'll hear the flutter too. Anyone care to input their knowledge?

    I'm setting it to 20 gain at the moment. It does feel it takes a shorter time to hit boost than when i set it to 5 like what the manual says. I think it spikes when the weather is really cold?

    Hey how do u know if your spark plugs are stuffed up or not? What are the 'symptoms' ?

    Fair enough. One of my mates set his at 15 gain on his S15. I understand that gain is the 'amount of time' taken for the turbo to fully spool up. So if it is at 5, which is pretty low, it'll spool up real slow?

    I concur with that. All R34s have that option. JUN R34: My passenger side mirror isn't working too! i think the motor stuffed up. I can only hear the motor sound and the mirror doesn't move!

    Sorry but how does the this help with the car? Just deflect the air straight into the engine? Don't air already get in?

    Well i reckon you should keep it easy for the time being since u said it's still slipping. After i changed mine, it took me about 500 odd kms until it feels alright.

    No when it's on recirculate it doesn't stink. Only when i allow outside air to flow in it'll smell.

    Hi guys, only recently i'm smelling this gross smell from the aircon whenever i turn it on or just let the air from outside flow in. Does it mean i have to change the air con filter? Any other issues besides that? Cheers
