Any news on how your tune went ? im interested to know... Jamie, Brett, Phil and Justin all do a killer job as ive worked with all of them and I can back what they do as i used to work there ! the quality of the tunes is top notch and if you think they are expensive then whats your engine worth at the end of the day ? Id say it would be a bit more then $1700. And if it wasnt just a basic retune then half of the posts in this thread are useless as the hours that go into dailing in cams (CORRECTLY) and tuning for early boost delivery are more then just a couple of hours labour !!

bit of an update dunno how many of you guys n girls are tearing your hair out trying to find lowering springs for your stag's... ive been looking into it for a while now for my missus car (1999 Auto RS4), finally bit the bullet and decided to get some after a bit of playing around and a few issues i think we have sussed it out. Im a Mechanic @ Tokyo Motorsport and Ive been working with our local Pedders Suspension store in Cannington, (Perth) Western Australia for the last week trying to setup a decent set of springs that fit correctly... Fronts: Fronts is easy I fitted 33/34 GTR front springs and they are sweet cope with the weight awesome and most of that boat like feeling is gone from the steering. Rear: Rear Skyline srings are to wide to sit on the spring seats properly so i would advise not to try and fit them as it is not safe, atm the new springs (From a different listed car) are fitted to the stag and im letting them settle before i try and explain what they are and how they look as we have been taking a few pics along the way... i will keep everyone posted over the next week as the springs settle so we can find out what the ride height ends up being and how the overall handling is. If anyone else has had issues with the rear spring diameter not fitting the rear shocks id also like to know how you solved it Cheers Trav

hey guys n girls im just putting the new dvd player n stereo in the missus 99 rs 4 and i cant seem to find a decent hole in the firewall on the drivers side to run the power lead from the battery... the grommet on the drivers side only seems to go as far as the windscreen wiper motor... just wanna know where everyone else has run their wiring through... the rest is easy Cheers Trav

Hey man yours auto or manual/rs4 or 260rs ? you fit them yourself i take it, they fit up/bolt holes n stuff all lined straight up ? got any pics of the coilovers ? were the rears an eyelet or were they the fork style on the rear ? Yer i had my Cusco rear toe arms sieze on my s13 just put them in a vice and unwound them n cleaned them as you said also helps if you put some "antisieze" on the threads helps to stop them binding up from a build up of shit in the threads... On another note has anyone tried to fit R34 Gtt coilovers to a 99 s2 RS4 before (i know the argument is that normal shock valving is weak but u would assume aftermarket coilovers wouldnt be to bad)... found out a friend has a set he is selling n was thinking of seeing how far out the fitment is for the stag's cause i was thinking of getting them for the missus...

so we are saying 2wd/4wd switches on a 99 RS4 S2 Stag is a big no no ?? Correct ?... how can you tell if the box is already rooted as it seems to drive really nice n not have any issues when i drove it 2day for about an hour ? missus is buying one its got a 2wd switch in it the dude 'says' he has only used it once as he never drives it (works offshore, months at a time and switch is only a few months old) please anyone who has had experiance you words of wisdom will be appreciated... Im going to call the workshop that fitted the switch in the morning and try and get some info on WTF the go is... Cheers Trav

Just to clarify for anyone confused by what i said im not ranting at the W.A.P.D as my brother is a Detective n i know a hand full of awsome cops... its at the people who cause the shit n then hide behind everyone else in the import scene n 6 months later do the same shit again... P.s. I miss the old cruise days where we could go all the way up the coast n back down n not even see a copper look twice

Adrian Lee's (4MY SON) memorial cruise spankers decided it would be funny to go into the lower car park n do skids... did someone forget that there is only ONE f**king enterance in n out of the Dam... oh look cops blocking the road... FAIL as the boys have all said there is a time n place for everything including tryin to impress ya mates, if ya such a sick driver why dont ya come to drift comps at Barb's n show everyone how fully sick u can drift aye bro, the last 4 comps of last season we were down on drivers to the point where it was stupid to even have the comp there are so many opportunities to do it safely but it all falls on def ears apart from the handfulls of people who can contain themself long enough to get to a track... some might think im wrong but its just my 2c from hanging around car clubs for the past 5 years... /END RANT....

Adrian’s (4MY SON) Memorial Cruise 22nd March 2009 at 11.00am Carousel Car Park, Albany Hwy Hey guys n girls, Hard to believe that its been 2 years already how time has flown, but now its time for a cruise so everyone can get together and look back on the past years and reminisce. I would like to invite you all to attend this cruise which is being held to raise money for Canteen who supports families with children who have cancer. We have organized this cruise in memory of Adrian so we can all visit most of his favorite places around Perth. This cruise is going to be open to ALL makes/models & car clubs so SPREAD the word as far as you can, the bigger the better. Gold coin donation will be needed for maps which will be handed out on the day, as the money is going to a good cause I don’t see this as a problem.
