Your best bet is to clean it with kerosene, this is friendly to the bearings as it keeps them lubricated while removing the grease buildup and doesnt harm any seals. This comes from 5 years of experience working on Industrial size motors, alternators, compressors etc. hope it helps

Hey my power steering pump is on the way out, bit of a bearing noise and fault frequencies picked up with a vibration analysis. i work with alot of electric motors and crap so can source free bearings and seals, just wondering it anyone knows the bearing numbers or seals for an RB25DET R33 power steering pump?

I know this topic is old news now, but just incase anyone else came across this problem at idle ive found the solution, well for me anyway.... all i needed to do was loosen the little screw on the AAC valve, you will find it at the back of the intake manifold close to the driver side window, there will be a plug connected with a purple plugtop for those who dont know already, it just looks like a normal screw, to increase airflow on idle just turn it counter clockwise while the engine is still running, you should notice a change with one revolution or two.... well fixed my problem anyway good luck

Hey just wondering if anyone could give some insight to this lil problem, i gave the car a bit of gas the other week and all of a sudden the fuel gauge went from 1/4 tank to full and it has been stuck there scince, i also notice the globe behind the oil guage has gone out.... any ideas?
