  1. 60/40 more a track car have a 4x4 for a daily ive been told re55s are the go is anyoune running them and can you buy them in diffrent compounds as in harder/softer
  2. hi guys im in the market for some semi race slicks what brands/ models are the best for overall stickiness and life expectancy somthing sticky but not going to be chewed awy in 5000ks?
  3. not much in the engine bay is stock .......id like to keep it that way the stock item probably will do..but so would stock internals etc each to there own i guess just trying to get the most eficiancy out of every part and regarding the 3540 its been proven to me with a machined slotted front housing its not really a limiting factor at all[from garrett eng] yes itll limit the flow to maybee 650hp instead of a true 700 roller but what i lose top end i will make up in quicker spool up/mid range power

  6. hks cast low mount manifold or a top mount drift/6boost manifold just looking for opinions on the best set up flow etc mods already done rb25 arias pistons 20 thou oversized eagle rods knife edged crank and balanced crank 9:1 comp head extensivly ported, cams of custom grind,solid lifter conversion etc greddy plenum garrett gt3540 with 64 housing 44mm tile wastgate lots of other custom mods that i dont really want to get into

  9. well prodigy ---jilted generation does a good job of making the right foot a little loose
  10. power fc is all that most street/little bit of track cars need
  11. or alternately you can do it properly with forged internals for that price from an engine reconditioner direct such as my uncle chris collier from beyond the limit motorsports/mrc cylinder heads.... based in east kielor give him a call on 0412665945 for a chat and a very resonable quote all works done in house so you only deal with the one person unlike most shops who send thier work out to get done and then sting you with there extra on top of the real price!
  12. just asking about where the powrs at and if the short runners are better or worse than the long ones of the stocky/custom plennum not if its going to make more or less horsies or if its worth the money running these plenums thank you
  13. hi all just a couple of questions regarding the greddy plenum from those who have or are running them do you find that the short runners are causing losses in low to mid range power or have youse found them to be ok? has anybody done tests on long versus short ruuners? have youse found that the longer runners on eg [the stock intake] better or the same for mid range torque? ive been told there good for top end but a bit of a killer of the mid range id like to get some opinions please thanks in advance

  16. wont be talking too much $$$ as most of the work eccept the water pump will be done by uncle and i in house hes an engine reconditioner and has all machinery necesary to do the head mods that are needed and as for power figure we are really not sure until final tune time and thats going to be a wile yet only have botom end together at this stage and thinking of going solid lifters for xtra revs so havent touched the head yet...itll take me a while to buy all the bolt ons around the engine itself need to rob a bank cause workin 70 hour weeks sucks
  17. hmmm ok im building an rb25 atm and am going down this path ive also met mr bennet and alex through my uncle chris from beyond the limit motorsports[ very switched on people ] and thanks for the links scooby intresting reading for i didnt entirely understand the whole theory behind this but obviously has to make a huge diff in reliability and general eficiency of the cooling system/motor package and also there oil system theorys sound just as good and would be worth while looking into aswell
  18. has anybody on these forums heard of or done the 'bennet' water pump/water bleed system? been to a workshop last week and saw an engine with this done,awsome idea,alot of work involved but seems worth it
