  1. Spotted a black 32gtr (I think) heading south just north of gympie Friday morning at about 6:45am. I was the cyclist also heading south. Also saw a silver 32 4 door coming out of venture drive in noosa during the week. Needed a serious idle adjustment (serious hunting going on). Don't know if the owner was aware that his super jdm spec upwards pointing shotgun exhausts made it look like his rear bumper had caught fire since all above the tips was black, pretty much up to the boot lid
  2. Not entirely sure why you'd be embarrassed about that..... I'd do it all the time.
  3. Wonder if they'll give you automatic licences if you have a gt5 save on your system, like they have in the past.
  4. Saw in eb games today that gt6 will be released on December 6. They have a special release, exclusive to eb, where you get a few bonus cars, etc.
  5. Given that the gps app all do, I would think it would.
  6. That's cool. I ride up the noosa hill climb road (it's closed to traffic) all the time, so that would be cool to race on
  7. That was kind of a given. Got a hard punch in the side then caught fire a few seconds later. Not many other things it could be
  8. Hulk's traction out of those corners was crazy good. To get back past hamo before the drs line and then drive off into the distance with drs open was just plain funny. As was the jeep trundling down the straight. Rbr's bank account will be taking a battering with 2 cars going up in flames in 2 races. If it happens again I'd like to see Mark pull out some marshmallows and roast them on his car.
  9. We had a gt 500 parked out the front of work a few months ago. Plates were SNAKE II. it was in mint condition and sounded spectacular, especially with the faint supercharger whine.
  10. It's probably not the actual windscreen creaking, but either the pillar or firewall or front quarter panel creaking. It would be from flex in the body.
  11. I'm guessing that if it's anything stock then the wires will very quickly disappear into the web of wires under the dash.
  12. Nice work on the undercut for the chin
  13. They run pneumatic valves (valves are opened by compressed air instead of a camshaft)
  14. Yeah it's fkn stupid. Feel sorry for grosjean
  15. From what I gather, often they just tip some water out of a kettle through the radiator and feel for cold spots (pretty much the same method I suggested)
  16. Safety car gives vettel a chance to find out who is actually coming second.....
  17. Yeah vettel has won the race already, barring a mechanical. Nice work by alonso on the start.
  18. With grosjean starting on the grid next to webber, that means that webber will be in first place after turn one as long as he gets an ok start, since grosjean will take out rosberg and vettel under brakes....
  19. Does your car also have an alarm/immobilizer? If so, that may also be part of why it isn't working. When it is activated it will stop the car from being able to start, just like if you were to try and start it with the key
  20. Given that the iac and aac are the biggest cause of idle problems, there's a pretty good chance cleaning then will solve your problem
  21. Take it to a radiator place, it isn't something that can be done at home. The cost of getting professionally cleaned may be close to that of a new radiator though, so it might be worth ringing and asking how much it will cost first.
  22. Until you get the manual looked at, I'd have a go at altering the circumstances around how you try using it. So if the car is manual make sure it's in neutral with the handbrake on. If auto also make sure the handbrake is on. Try having the car unlocked and see if that makes a difference. There is also a chance the battery in the remote is dead.
  23. Saw a r33 gtr yesterday heading up the hill towards Toyota in noosa. Was running like arse. He gave it a bootfull and it just pumped out fuel smoke and was missing.
  24. To reset your ecu just simply disconnect the positive battery terminal for a while.
  25. For the heating side of things, first check the thermostat. Then check the radiator for cool spots. Basically, get the car warm and then run your hand over the radiator. If you feel spots that are cooler than other areas then the radiator is blocked and either needs replacing or the be professionally cleaned. Flushing the radiator does bugger all.
