a fmic may be bigger, but if the smic is restrictive, the air speed will be higher on the fmic, which negates any lag

the stock skyline muffler will probably be a bit more restrictive than the 5zigen

the smic on the r34 would probably be ok for what you want. the advantage of a fmic is that at low speed on hot days the engine fan will draw some air through it, cutting down heat soat.

which of the mobil1 oils? but yes it should be fine, but i didn't think they did a 10x30 in the better oil.

removing the bov is easy. there is 2 12mm bolts and an 8mm hose clamp. you will need to plug up the recirculation pipe, and as others have said, you will need an adapter to fit it on the intercooler piping.

i made a box like that about 5 months ago for mine. oddly enough, with no insulation the induction noise was louder.

i hated tailgaters when i was in the skyline cause i knew that if i had to hit the skids i had more braking power than them, so there was a pretty good chance they would slam up my arse. i don't get why people tailgate when the car they are following has better brakes so they will only get pwned in a crash.

correct me if i am wrong, but if you are under 18 and they video tape you, can you get them into trouble for stalking a minor? where my father-in-law works, the neighbour was video taping them working late and stuff (cause the council told her to, cause she was making complaints), but then when the cops found out they went and told her that if she continued to video tape she would be charged with stalking, and she had recorded the boss's son, so she could've got into even more trouble.

the tyres usually wear less when someone else drove mine...... except my mechanic, then they would wear nearly as fast as when i was driving, but atleast i knew that he drove it the same whether i was in the car or not. as for insurance, i was through just cars and my insurance went up when i added the missus, cause i was a rating 1 and she was a rating 2.

i am 1 of these people, except i would pull up next to a commodore in my skyline and do it. and i never had many takers. i also like pulling up next to skylines with their big chrome wheels and big bodykits that are all show and stock go and then there's me that had stock wheels, with some more go, and then beating them. now i do it in my current car. a 99 magna. i'm going to race my mate with his 33 at willowbank this weekend. i told him that if he beats me there is something wrong, but i am still hoping for a high 14 second pass, which is quicker than some skylines on here.
