  1. a r34 gt-t will be faster than a r32 gts-t, and once the usual mods are done it will be much faster. i say go the gt-t route. what you save on the cost of buying the car (and on insurance), you could get a gt-t and make it go faster than a lot of GTRs. and you wouldn't have to go rb26 to do it. just go rb25/30 with a big squid bolted on the side.
  2. probably comparing the 1/4 mile times that the gtr ran on slicks to the time that the bugatti runs on street tyres. i'm sure that trying to launch a 1000hp car spins the wheels a bit more than a 800hp car. plus the gtr wouldn't have the aerodynamics, so at over about 100mph the veryron would just pull away. it would be funnier to pull up next to a veyron in an ultima GTR (for the people that don't know, it's not a nissan. it's the worlds fastest accelerating production car. 0-100mph-0 in 9.8 seconds.) and beat it.
  3. saw it last night. goes to show that money can't buy driving talent. also shows that it's pretty darn easy to write off an enzo. if that was a car made out of steel instead of carbon they could fix it. i've seen cars take bigger hits than that and been repaired.
  4. looks like a mazda 3 that they got someone to beat with a mallet. very few companies do. look at the new commodore. falcon rear with a lexus front. and the astra is just a commodore shrunk down a size.
  5. so you should be
  6. dan stop your bitchin'. your up speed is faster than my down speed.
  7. you can buy a plug and play harness. on 1 end is a plug that is the same as the plug on your ecu (plugs onto the cars wiring harness), on the other end is a plug the same as your cars harness (plugs into your ecu) and in the middle is the plug for the emanage.
  8. holy WTFBBQ batman. dude you must get some serious friction burns looking at porn with that speed internet.
  9. my one was for the work net. not even going to bother doing it at home. it's on dial-up and the computer is still running windows 98, so it takes 3 weeks to get to windows, let alone on the net. but it shuts down in about 3 seconds.
  10. t10 park light h1 for both low and high beam on the r33.
  11. unless there is lots of potholes near where you live, or like to do skids. then just stick to 17's.
  12. most places that sell body kits.
  13. looks like he just got used as a demo of what might happen to the driver of the car if he has to go to jail and accidently drops the soap.
  14. yeah it sounds like either a plug or coil issue. try plugs first. either the BCPR6ES as nizmo freak said, or BKR6ES. they are the V groove version of the same plug. also search for the thread on how to tape up your coil packs.
  15. could be a dodgy earth somewhere, or a wire has a tear in it and is rubbing on the body or something and shorting out. might be doing it ini a way that isn't blowing a fuse. i don't think it will quite be the same, but i used to have a whippersnipper that used to do this. it had a dodgy fuel cap. the fuel cap on it had a vavle that was supposed to let air in as the fuel was used, but not let fuel or air out, and it was blocked so it was creating a vacuum and starving the engine of fuel.
  16. basically any turbo car will make that induction noise with a pod. my mate had major timing issues (timing belt jumped a tooth) on his CA18 powered 180 and it would spool from 1500rpm. it wouldn't go anywhere (probably would've run about a 30 second 1/4 mile, and i'm not joking), but it sure sounded fast. but some pods won't make any noise. the k&n pods that are bigger at the top than where they clamp onto the intake don't make any spool noise, but you can hear the bov. i had one on my old 180sx and a mate had one on his r33. but soon as you change to a normal pod you can hear it again.
  17. woot! winna! telstra 256kb adsl. the guys with the super fast stuff, how do you wank fast enough to keep up? LOL
  18. squeals like a pig in mud during love making. needs to wax his back tho. kept calling me kevin.

  19. i'd class them as performance cars. i don't think i'd class them as sports cars. but i wouldn't class a skyline (non gtr) as a sports car either. it is a performance car. it's still too family orientated. i'd class the GTR as a sports car. my dream car is a 1965 shelby 427 cobra. this car would hose a lot of skylines out there. this is a car that was made from 1962 to 1965 and ran a 12.4 quarter mile, and would do 0-100mph-1 in around 14 seconds, which is about the same as a Lamborghini Murcielago.
  20. probably old, but here's a enzo that came off worse than the veyron.
  21. but you can't class a normal skyline in the class as a gtr. the the only thing they share in common is the body shape. as the skylines get more expensive they get sportier, as aussie built cars get more expensive yes they get more power, but they also get more luxurious. will a skyline box handle the power? no. it's easier to get a strong gearbox for a v8 than it is a jap car. you might want to tell ferrari, mercedes, jaguar, bmw, lambo, etc that they are just for bogans. even nissan still makes a 5.6L v8. the problem with the gen 3 in the commodores is that holden altered it from the american gen 3. they detuned it so they didn't use so much fuel. they took out the rings and put lower tension rings in. thats why they use oil. how many aussie cars out there have over 300,000kms and are still going strong? lots. how many jap cars are out there with over 200,000kms that haven't been rebuilt, or need a rebuild. not that many. people always say how shit old commodores are and that they are falling apart, etc, but they get a much harder life than imports and generally have a lot more k's than imports. i like imports. they go well and handle well. i just like shit stiring people who think imports are the only car that can be quick.
  22. on a hot day even on the highway my thermo fan used to kick in. it ran at about 95.
  23. i have a list of who's a fag and who isn't.
  24. does that determine which is a better car? how much it takes to get it to run a 10 second pass? if you go off that line of thinking then my mates sigma wins hands down. cost him $2500 for the car, spent $2500 putting a redtop sr20 in it and on stock ecu, turbo, injectors, etc and stock open centre diff ran a 12.56 at the 2005 jamboree. does that mean its a better car than a commodore? no. it still handled like a car made in 1982, it was twisting the body and tearing the seam of the firewall apart from the launches
